Serious bit of kit there CJ! I have the 8800 GTS...have to say, it runs really well...have quite a few case fans, and a Coolermaster CPU Heatsink and fan...but never had an issue with the heat from the card tbh

Wow!...the scenery is almost FSX in quality!..how the hell have you guys made it look so good??...this is CFS3 we're talking about here!!!...unbelievable! What type is the new British Plane?

OMG what a nightmare that was!! Ok, situation is, I have managed to succesfully install 258.96 WHQL...and all seems stable at the moment. Going to try and run FSX in a moment..because if anything can show up a Display problem..FSX can!! I had serious thoughts that my Graphics Card was Kaput!....half the problem, was I couldnt uninstall the 260.89 drivers from within Add/Remove...So, I reinstalled them...rebooted into Safe mode, then uninstalled!..that worked...the next issue, was that Win7 auto installs it's own Drivers...this also caused problems with a garbled display!...so, back to safe mode, uninstall the Card itself...rebooted back into safe mode...looked in device manager, and instead of a Nvidia driver, it had installed the standard VGA adaptor...Cool So, still in safe mode, I installed 258.96...and voila..I'm typing this!! Im scared stiff now about reinstalling Nvidia drivers....so, if anyone can post the exact sequence..I would be very grateful! Ok, fire up FSX...and see what happens!....wish me luck, I'm going in!!

Aaargh! Major graphics problems!..running any game whatsoever! All was fine, until tonight, when I installed Nvidia drivers (260.89)...horrible Jagged graphics, red patchworks..CTD's blue screens, and 'The Driver phucked up messages!) Even going back to the default Windows ones has not sorted it!...have done a system restore..still locking up! At a loss!

Maybe I have been very lucky!...TrackIR 3 installed no problem..BHAH & HITR both installed flawlessly!..and I'm not sure if it's because I have re-done the CFS3 config settings again, but FPS is up..and Graphical Eye candy is markedly improved too! One HAPPY Bear!!!

The other thing I noticed was the new Movie Maker. Utter s**te!....thank goodness movie maker 2.6 is available for Windows 7!..I would have not of been a happy Bear!!! Well done Microsoft!..you got something right! (at last)

I'm finding it very intuitive!...The file icons are a bit different to XP..and I have found that a little confusing..but it's just a learning curve, and getting used to it. I put off upgrading until now, as I used to wake up screaming, and in a cold sweat thinking about Vista!...god...the Horror!!!!

Now running Win7 64 home premium...all looks great..need to go through the forum to see how to get Trackir working, but impressed so far :) Also, I seem to remember an issue with installing cfs3 and OFF too, that needs looking at?...but, I will wait until i have reinstalled it and see

Yeah, it was delightful to watch the reactions at Camp Hope, when they began the evac. In an oft cruel world, it lights up the soul...a great result, and a massive pat on the back for the international rescue crews! Great stuff

Hi m8...OpenDNS is...well...this http://www.opendns.com/ You must have installed it at some stage?..cant be more specific than that I'm afraid. As for Internet Explorer...I can only say what many people say..and that is...move on! With the likes of Google Chrome being available, which makes IE look like a snail suffering from Asthma!...I would try a different browser.
