Yup..My Wife has gone off to her Sister's for a couple of days, my Son is on a two day Farming trip..I have the whole house, and my lovely Dogs to keep me company!...Lot's of opportunity to play OFF etc....But...It's only day one, and I am missing them both. It's the first time they have both been away.... I was looking forward to being on my own, without noise, hussle and bussle....but I don't like it!

Hi Olham I got the Nvidia GTS 450...was all my budget would stretch too...but it seems to be fine Yes, random lockups and freezes are so damn frustrating!!...I share your pain!

Well, following on from my Windows 7 hassles...it turns out that my trusty Nvidia 8800GTS had actually given up the ghost! I continued to get graphical errors constantly in W7..lost my patience, reformatted..and went back to XP. I was dissapointed to note, that the problem was even worse in XP than W7...so, off to get a new card! Duly installed and working..Win 7 forgiven, and reinstalled..all working fine!...what a pain the last 72 hrs have been!...but I'm nearly there!!

Hi Uncleal Yes, fsx is a pig to configure!...change one Nvidia setting wrong, and it runs like a snail on downers and whiskey!
