SF2 Screenshot Thread
Dave replied to Stary's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
Yeah that asshole Mayor Daley, (while there was a campaign to save it as a historical place), had bulldozers drive on the runway and tear it up. There were planes still on the airfield and had to get a waiver to take off from the taxiway. So while a court order told him to halt any construction, he destroyed it anyway. Was fined too and used tax payer money to pay the damn fine! He is corrupt as they come. -
http://combatace.com/forum/287-thirdwire-sf2sf2vsf2esf2i-sci-fianimewhat-if-forum/ It has its own screen shot thread too. If you all can think of anything for it, I'll add it. I was also hoping that Spinners might want to lead the forum. What do you say my friend?

Disappering weapons
Dave replied to showtime's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
You're not supposed to use any weapons pack with NATO Fighters. It has it's own weapons pack. I think it says that somewhere too. -

SF1 vs SF2
Dave replied to cianw1's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
There is more to SF2:Vietnam than to WOV. Like I said more under the hood goodies. Once you buy them on download, burn all the files to disk and you will be good to go forever. You will be able to reinstall anytime you want. I have all mine on a thumb drive. -

SF1 vs SF2
Dave replied to cianw1's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
Under the hood: Better RWR's, flight dynamics, weapon capabilities, versions of aircraft.... SF2 has a built in mission editor that alone makes it better than SF1. You need to get all the titles my my friend if you have the cash, SF2, SF2:Vietnam, SF2:Europe, SF2:Israel, Exp 1 and Exp 2.......you will be in HOG heaven.... -

SF1 vs SF2
Dave replied to cianw1's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
SF2 is vastly superior in every way to the old series. The old series has more mods..... SF2 has better graphics and also has lots of under the hood goodies that SF1 doesnt. SF2 is easier to install mods and patch than the olde series. I modded the old series since it came out in 2002 I loved every minute of it. However almost every major modder has moved on to SF2 series since it came out in 2008, to include me. Do yourself a favor get SF2 and be in the now...... -

How to put SFG to default files ?
Dave replied to cianw1's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
My friend, you keep posting in The Pub, I keep moving your threads to this forum. This is the correct forum for such posts. To answer your question, did you delete the entire folder of SFG before you re-installed? So uninstall, delete any left over folders then reinstall. -
That was after the storm. Everything has at least of inch of ice on it. Detroit got like 19 inches of snow in a few hours. I was stuck in I-75 for 2 hours while they cleared an accident. Big suck fest all round.

Mike I was up in Michigan over last weekend and drove back Monday, it took us 12 hours to do a 6 hours trip because of that weather. It totally sucked. Great pics man.
