  13. Well having sat in an AWACS and witnessed it for myself I know it can do it. But it ain't no Orion, that is the one all others are measured by.
  14. Please bare in mind too I am not saying the E-3 can do it better, I am saying it can do the job. The P-8 will fill that role nicely.
  15. Notice I said capable but not perfect thus why you are buying the P-8. The E-3 has been upgraded in recent years to be able to accomplish a variety of missions that was once done by other planes. Check the extra bumps and around the fuse. Those house an ESM system for ground, sea and air detection, identification of targets. Of it emits a signal, the E-3 will pick it up. However as you pointed out it doesn't have the ability to engage, that is what Link 16 and Link 22 is for. Also the E-3C has the AN/APY-2 radar or tacking maritime targets since 2002 or 2003 I believe.
  16. Coming from an E-3 unit, (back in 2008) yes they are very capable of maritime recon.
  17. Oh I cant take credit for the skins. I just put decals on the tail of actual Seawolves birds. Wish we could do more Brown Water Navy stuff.

  24. Nato Fighters 4+ has been updated beyond the June 2010 patch. We are also working on another update to use the new EXP2. I suggest you patch to the lastest, get the EXP 2, then download all the parts of NF4+. We will have the EXP 2 update to NF4+ out soon, you wont be disappointed.

    I remember it well. We were stationed at Hanscom AFB, MA and I was sitting in my 7th grade class when the teacher turned on the TV. I have never forgot it.
