I cured that by cleaning out my aircraft folders. I use this program swambast made me and now I have planes sets I load into the sim before I start it. Having said that though, my point is clearing out unsed planes greatly speeds up the loading process.

The RF-101C was in Vietnam too and it retained its ability to drop a single special store. The F-101C would of been the same. It was envisioned as an escort fighter, the USAF turned into a nuclear platform. It wouldnt of done well in Vietnam because there wasnt a role or need for it.

I have all mine merged however I use the individual exe's for each sim. I have my mods installed in the folder for each individual sim as well. So NF4+ is on SF2:Europe and I use the SF2E exe for it, Vietnam Gold is the same thing. The only one I use for everything else is SF2, I have everything in there.

Our good friend Olivier "BPAo" Anguille passed away. Last night I was going through some disks and I found the max file for the newer Mirage F-1 he had been working on. I am not sure why I was going through the disk but I think that was Oli telling me to find it. I have no other explanation on why I was looking for that. I sure miss him.

Ah I see your point. Me calling them sims does not me better than them, I have never thought that. I have however seen the people you are talking about.

Guilty as charged JM. However I do not think I'm superior because I call it a sim. Its my preference to call it that.

As if anyone didnt know, I like the Thirdwire series of sims. Having said that though, I dont go into other forums for hit and run "My sim is better than yours" tactics. The Thirdwire series is what it is. It has its warts but there is more good with it than bad. In fact I dont think I stand up here and say Tk's sims are better than others. I prefer them yes, but the my sim is better than your sim arguement is so freakin' dumb. I have said this before, I m a fliht sim junkie. There are those I like and those I dislike but that is everyone. The whole crowd of you either like my sim or you're a loser is never going to go away though. The over the top uber Falcon 4 crowd is a prime example. The zealots of that sim is what led me to quit playing it. It seemed like no matter what you said about the sim, a zealot would come in and tell you why F4 was ALWAYS better. Remember the F4 vs LOMAC flame fest? I am sure some F4 fan has bought the DCS A-10C beta and started comparing start up procedures between each sim on what is more techincally correct. I can see it now, "Well in Falcon 4, you have to turn this switch 4 times which is more correct than the A-10C sim which doesnt model this at all." Its great to have loyality and passion for your sim, but in the end everyone is going to like what they like and have an opinion on it.

Hi Mag Good to see you. Its not really SimHQ itself I have a problem with as much as some people there I have beef with. They know who they are and they know why. However never had a problem with you Mag and love reading your stuff over there. I will admit I am guilty of that bashing though. I often think that if we were all in a bar right now things would be different and maybe easier to get a point across. I wish our ground section was more active here too. In fact I am going out of my flight simming zone and going to work on maybe reviewing Medal of Honor. Have any tips?

I thought that might of been the case and I apologize to you that you had to be a victim of that whole "guilty by association" thing. You've never had a part in the discord between the sites and for them to hold that against you is wrong (if they did) but I am to blame for that. You have been there for 10 years and I would of hope they would of treated you better knowing that.
