  1. There isnt one that can make it anything usable. What are you trying to do?
  2. Thats a minor issue though malibu43 and not a deal breaker. June 2009 patch just lacks too many things that the newer patched bring in. Besides I have said this before and I will say it again, sight seeing is for MSFS, dogfighting and bombing are for Thirdwire.....
  3. Central to the pilot's instrument panel is a pair display screens arranged vertically. The upper display, referred to as the Vertical Display Indicator (VDI), is a multi-function screen of sorts with two primary roles. The first task is to provide navigation and flight data during normal flight and recovery. When lining up to land aboard the carrier, the VDI displays the Instrument Landing System (ILS). Made up of a set of vertical and horizontal lines, they form a perfect cross when the aircraft has achieved optimal orientation for landing. Any deviation from the "glide slope" by the aircraft results in a corresponding deviation of the ILS indicators. The ILS forms just a part of the landing aids available to the pilot, some of which will be discussed further on. During intercepts, images from the TCS are displayed on the VDI, providing a means for the pilot to identify the target while maintaining many miles of separation. http://www.jolly-rogers.com/airpower/f-14/f-14-av.htm

Thanks to eburger68 for the incredible work he did on getting this updated. Thank you sir. Dave (USAFMTL) ------------------------------------------- NATO Fighters IV+: Post-Dec2009 Update Pack ------------------------------------------- This package contains an update pack for the NATO Fighters IV+ (NF4+) add-on designed for "Strike Fighters 2: Europe" (SF2E) from ThirdWire. It does several things: 1) Updates the NF4+ add-on for use with the SF2E Dec2009 & later patch levels. 2) Adds several new aircraft and AAA objects. 3) Adds a number of new textures to existing aircraft. 4) Fixes or updates numerous other files in the original NF4+ mod. This update pack should be applied to SF2E/NF4+ installations that are patched to the Dec2009 or later patch level, including Feb2010, Mar2010, or May2010. If you are running SF2E at the Jun2009b patch level and do NOT intend to update to one of the later patch levels mentioned above, you should NOT apply this update pack. Thanks to Crusader and Brain32 for assistance putting this update pack together. If we have neglected to credit anyone here, please let us know. We will get it fixed ASAP.
  6. It shouldn't effect anything. When TK changed to the DX10 stuff, HUD and AB effects that were not in the correct ini format, didn't work. The NF4+ patch corrects this for anyone who patched past Dec 2009. That was the big change to NF4+ patch we just released. Correcting all of that. Then we just added more to it from some good stuff that was out. You will be fine.
  7. Ok I want this camo on an USAF F-4E!!!!
  8. Eric Do we need to do another fix pack? You send me your fixes and I'll do the rest. Seems like we have done this before.
  9. New Budweiser advert

  10. The Official "Not the IPhone" Thread

I thought this was a non bashing thread.....guess some people cant read.
  11. http://combatace.com/files/file/11099-nato-fighters-4-patch-post-dec-2009-patch-level/ Here you go.
  12. Only you can prevent data loss. I have backed up my stuff today. Have you? I still have my shovel!
  13. Its a known issue, that has been discussed many many times. TK knows.
  14. Here is another hint. Install Gunny's pack to a folder on your desktop then drag and drop only the weapons you want.
  15. B-1 retirement?

I better start to learn Chinese...
  16. Look at one of the weapons in Gunny's weapons pack. Open the ini's and look at the format, then add your weapon in the same way. Since TK changed it to this method. I have never had a need to even use a wep editor. Its the best way than screwing with that temperamental editor. That link tells you how to do it. Its easy as hell. http://combatace.com...s-by-migbuster/
  17. So does any other exe too. If you start SF2:V for example you can access ALL of the series components; maps, campaigns, aircraft, etc as well. However SF2 is the anchor.
  18. Patch to the latest versions and try that.
