Thanks to James Fox discovering this but if you have SF1 installed, grab the .50 Cal sound out of there and put into your sounds folders and that will cure your problem. Also in tjhe SFP1 sounds download areas, ther emight be some .50 cal sounds in there. Check out some of the ones by Signum. http://forum.combatace.com/files/file/6541-sound-pack/

Here is what I have done: Flyable Royal Navy - 6 Seahawk and 1 Wyvern unit, all carrier based. French - F4U-7 unit, carrier based. (Corsair need serious ini to SF2 standards work or I am going to scrap it) French (IAF) - F-84 unit RAF - 2 Canberra units IAF - 1 Ouragan unit and 1 Mossie unit Non flyable: Egypt - 1 Sea Fury Unit Edit skins and decals accordingly to. What's left: Sea Fury needs new skin F4U-7 could use an updated skin and ini edits. Terrain modification to add Cyprus for the RAF. Add couple more French F-84 units and hopefully Gunrunner can hook me up with an RF-84F unit.

Which aircraft? There is one in the SF1 download section in the utilities and editors section called Le Missioneur. Move on to the SF2 series. Easier to use, more under the hood and is still supported. Most mod teams have moved on to the SF2 series. anyway.

You're missing the point completely. This policy will lead to poor choices that will lead to needless deaths of Soldiers, Airmen, Marines and Sailor's. They are forgetting the human factor. Some rookie LT or some LT Col who wants to make full bird is going to make a hesistant call and get someone killed that didn't need to be. I am all for the hearts and minds campaign but you can't do it at the expense of bad decisions. Been doing this for almost 20 years, no one needs to ever remind me what I signed up for.
