    Mirage 5DE of the Libyan AF. Libyan AF Mirage 5DE Thanks to the MF for use of this mod. As delivered to Libya, the Mirage 5DEs were by all purposes Mirage IIIEs interceptors, equipped with Cyrano II fire-control radar and Doppler (mounted in a prominent fairing under the cockpit), but with a stretched forward fuselage (i.e. the intake lip behind the rear edge of the canopy), and an additional fuel tanks behind the cockpit. Except for two DEFA 30mm cannons, they were armed with Matra R.530 air-to-air missiles, only one of which could be carried bellow the centerline. Read the readme. Updated on 19 March with 2 more skins and fixed the missile rails that should not show.

    I just found out that is going to be like $43 a 6 pack! Well I think I may get one just to see what the fuss is about but for $43 I can get a good bottle of Irish Whiskey.
  10. It's all good UK. MSgt Richardson Thank you for your service in Vietnam. One of the reasons I took on this project is to show our appreciation for the sacrifice people have made by joining the military. My dad was in the USAF from 1969 to 1998 and he tells similar stories. I am sure it by no means makes up for the treatment you got from the Vietnam era but I hope in some way makes you feel good that we here at CA appreciate you. V/R TSgt David Slavens

  16. So far the AIM-120B's are terrible for some reason. But the AIM-120C, is the 'Fetch em Fido" of legend. I have yet to miss with it. The "B" though, I miss 66% of the time. I would love to see what info they used for these things. I can almost bet its incorrect. Let me rephrase that, I can say for certain its incorrect.
  17. The stats do not lie. I mean when actual Mig killing fighter pilots say it sucked, then you know it's the tool. You are 100% correct but again it goes back to the missile itself being poor. Thus the extra work you had to do to get to that envelope.
  18. Was thinking about your post and the proper response and here is what I came up with. While I agree with what you are saying, it bears little relevance to my project here because we all engage in a flying a combat flight sim that involves military aviation. Thus the reason for my project. Had this been a site dedicated to an EMT or Fire etc, then I would of recognized them in the same way. Again though, what you say is correct.
