OT for a sec. Exhausted I updated your status to Mil Vet. Ok I'm going to bed all. Have to get up at 0600. Clean it nice please in here.

Never said there was a cover up. Never said we don't make mistakes. Never said you couldn't have an opinion. I disagreed with your assesment though. The fact is that the media needs to quit twisting the story into something it isn't. Of course we as milItary members should be accountable forbour actions. But in this case, this is an obvious attempt to make us look bad. 3 years in the Corp eh? My socks have more time in service than you. (that's just a joke) Marines do get jumpy or edgy, the same goes for any combat unit who has been engaged for long periods of time. It's a fact that a longer a unit is on the line the more they are prone to make mistakes. You may of not experienced the fog of war, yet. But it's happens and it happens often. Edit: You said you thought you saw what might of been a weapon. Another person in this thread said he saw at least 5. That is a perfect example of fog or war.

Bombers.... -
f***en A Andy!

The problem with your argument exhausted is that you forgot the fog of war. They looked like guns to me and we don't shoot to maim we shoot to kill. So the dude crawling was still a legit target. This is a case of the fog of war, also get shot at for days on in and you will be jumpy, anxious, etc because everyone else is trying to kill you. Lets not turn this into a bash US military thing because a ton of members here are US military to include me.

Not Forgotten I will eventually finish it

About the F-107C Ultra Sabre?
Dave replied to AGOSTINO's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
It did make it to the A version. But that was it. -
The series is integrated into one section. Every time I build of new download sections I end up breaking things. So instead of accidentally killing the downloads with a massive reorganization I kept integrated. This is the mod to use for FE2. http://forum.combatace.com/topic/52966-new-fe-seasoned-tiles-released/

That's just it, its style at it best. Nothing more than satisfying in taking out an entire bomber formation with a unguided nuke! Yeah, nukes are fun.

Best missile kill I ever had was a snapshot of an AIM-9D (I did this the other day) from my Nesher against a Mig-21 that popped in front of me while I was covering my wingman. He was all of sudden there and I am sure he had my wingman in his sites. So I just fired it off hoping to maybe scare him off (and hoping I wouldnt hit my wingman in the process.) The missiel trackes right into his tail pipe. I was stunned!

How can you get addon planes in the hands of the AI?
Dave replied to UnknownPilot's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
I am not sure how its works so that is why I pull planes out of my install to keep certain sets. That way I know I will encounter what I want. That file mover program swambast made does the trick nicely. When he gets back from his trip I will ask him to release it. It is a miracle program, straight forward, easy to use and it even remembers where your folders are and what you moved. Also I think you can even make set and transfer them at one time. I am still messing with it though. Sorry didnt mean to derail your thread. But yes by pulling out certain planes you can make that happen. Then do forget to save the mission when you are done then you can do it again at your leisure. -
I like a gun kill myself. But the popping of a Mig at 35 miles with an AIM-120D is such a satisfying thing. They just disappear from your radar.

7.2 on the Richter Scale. Felt in Phoenix, AZ as well. Those quakes in Haiti and Chile caused huge shifts in the plates, so the one in California is or was eventually going to shift as well. I remember the Northridge quake when I was stationed at Vandenberg AFB. We felt it all the way up there.
