  1. There is no plan B

I do have a complaint though. I thought Bruce Willis was going to play Hannibal? Don't get me wrong, I like Liam Neeson but man, Bruce would of been a bad ass Hannibal. I guess we will see this fall when its out on DVD.
  2. Silly Army person they have been in the SF2 section for months. Just not updated to the Dec 2009 patch..
  3. There is no plan B

The A Team was over the top as a show to begin with so it doesn't surprise me they are shooting down a plane like that. I loved it as a kid. I am keeping a cautious eye on this one and the remake of "The Karate Kid" as the trailer for that looked good, even though the kid is in China.......learning Kung Fu.....
  4. How about the fact that we overfly othet countries all the time and we have permission to do it. I highly highly doubt we were spying on gold reserves....I mean really can you come up with a BETTER excuse to bash the US because that is the lamest by far I have ever heard. As far a Venezula is concerned, oh I have no doubt we were spying on them, Chavez is a lunatic, but prove to me that this nutjob is not looking for an excuse to be an asshole. Let him get stupid and take a shot at a US aircraft, the MF'er will get lit up like he has never seen before. Just give us an excuse Chavez, please, give us an excuse and we will smoke your sorry ass miltary with all their nice new planes and equipment. Oh man please I wish he would get dumb.
  5. OMG WTF?

........you can recapture the comedy genius that is the original Caddyshack. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caddyshack Read the last part, ah screw it, I will quote it for you. There is NO WAY in hell this will be as good as the first. I mean who are they going to get to play Rodney Dangerfields part? This will flop in the box office and I will not be a part of this jackassery.
  6. Hey, DWCace....

    Happy Birthday my friend.
  7. Release date is far off but DAMN you all will like it. The cat will get out of the bag based on our fearless leaders say so.
  8. SJ is the tail code for F-15E's out of Seymour Johnson AFB. Where the 334th FS is from.
  9. We got something special coming guys. So stay tuned. Things aren't always what they seem.
  10. But still get SF2:V Ez, Sundowner did some FREAKIN' awesome skins for the F-4's!
  11. Sundowners I did a history report on them a long time ago. VMFA-312, met a couple pilots from there years ago, we all got carried out of the bar. As the same with the 334th. I know a few WSO's and pilots from that unit. One used to live across the street from me when he was moving from the back seat to the front seat of the Mudhen. I do like to move mud, but once the iron is dropped, I go hunting for Mig's.
  12. Being USAF myself I fly 90% of the time USAF. Usually with the 334 TFS. (P-47 through the F-15E) For the Navy there is only one, the world famous VF-111 "Sundowners" in an F-8, F-4, F-14 and F-5 (VFC-111) For the Marines its the VMFA-312 in an F7F-3 through the F/A-18.
  13. Well with bpao no longer with us, that took a big chunk out of the aircraft pool. FC is kind working on and off. We have you and a few rookies and that is about it. Some people are losing their interest. Constanltly having to rewokr planes because of this patch and that patch gets old. The enhancements are great but you know how it is when you do something over and over and over again. We got a mod team though working on a great mod so some things will be happening.

EA-6B Prowlers assigned to Electronic Attack Squadron 135 deploy daily from the Nimitz flight deck, jamming electronic signals in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. "Our main focus of effort is to dominate the electromagnetic spectrum," explained Navy Lt. Cmdr. Blake Tornga, Electronic Attack Squadron 135 maintenance officer. "That means we preserve it for coalition forces and we deny its use to Afghan insurgents. If we can successfully do that many times, the ground commander may not need a bomb." Prowler missions directly support the July 2009 tactical directive issued by Army Gen. Stanley A. McChrystal, commander of U.S. and international forces in Afghanistan. The directive limits the use of force that could result in civilian casualties. "The enemy command and control network in Afghanistan is fairly dispersed and flexible," Tornga said. "We have to constantly adapt our tactics, based on new technology in the hands of the enemy, to interdict parts of that network." When the Navy received its first Prowlers in January 1971 and deployed them to Vietnam in 1972, their primary mission was focused on jamming enemy radar. They supported strike aircraft, ships and ground troops by degrading the enemy's early warning capability and electronic weapons systems. The EA-6B of yesterday, outfitted with today's technology, has adapted its platform to support Operation Enduring Freedom in a way no other airframe can, Tornga said. "There are very few electronic attack platforms out there," he noted. "We are the only tactical electronic attack platform. Mountain valleys, small turns, staying tight with a convoy -- that mission right now can only be done with the EA-6B." Prowlers have been performing missions for years that fall in line with McChrystal's directive, Tornga said. "There will certainly remain a need for kinetics in support of the ground forces, but being able to turn a kinetic situation into a nonkinetic one is pretty rewarding," he said. "Some of the real-time feedback we get from the ground troops after a successful mission makes me realize why we need to be here, and it makes this deployment very, very meaningful." Since entering the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations Sept. 18, Nimitz aircraft have flown more than 2,058 sorties, providing 30 percent of the close-air support to the coalition forces in Afghanistan. 16. Whatever aircraft you flew i.e. a Navy plane then it will revert to a Navy rank. Then if you jump into a USAF plane it will revert to that USAF Rank. You do not get demoted though. You just get the next branch of service's equivlant.
  17. EZ get SF2:V and you will have all the F-4B's you need.
  18. How does Kiwi taste? Spinners PM me, I got something special for you.
  19. Happy Birthday Porterjr

Hey man hope you got the day off to celebrate. Have a good one!
  20. Ez Do you know the decals you need? If you do, take them from the old sim and drop them into the decals folder of the new sim. Then you dont need the path just the decal name. Copy?
  21. Well then we have to do this, for the kids sake.
  22. The F7F is a beast, man I would of loved to fly that bad boy. Glad Geo made one for the sim. The Super Sader was a serious contender and I heard the same stories, poor Navy didn't like getting waxed by the jet they didn't buy. Here is a great online resource for aircraft facts. http://home.att.net/~jbaugher/usfighters.html He also states all his resources. I use all the time.
