The Official Agostino Q & A Thread
Dave replied to AGOSTINO's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
Very true but not all got a TACAN. (TACAN was use primarily in Europe.) Some didnt get the TACAN after leaving Bergstrom AFB for England. So as a general rule, (I think it was 2 ship formation) one had to fly with a TACAN. But you are correct, if it had a TACAN, it only had 3 guns. -

There is a LOD in the download that has the fourth gun. Not to correct you Don, but some had all 4 guns, some didn't. In fact most pilots didnt know if they were flying an A or a C. -

Changing F-35B Default Skin
Dave replied to Mike Dora's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
Remove the USMC skin. Start the sim, it will default to the RAF skin. Then exit the sim and add the USMC one back. You should be set. I am not the creator. That was Klavs81 and FastCargo. I was just on the team. -

That sums it up for me. Statistics do not win a war. People win wars.

Yep 100% agree, I have been refraining from posting my thoughts on his leadership.

The next time someone asks you a dumb question wouldn't you like to respond like this? Yesterday I was at my local Wal-Mart buying a large bag of Purina dog chow for my loyal pet, Biscuit, the Wonder Dog and was in the checkout line when a woman behind me asked if I had a dog. What did she think I had, an elephant? So since I'm retired and have little to do, on impulse I told her that no, I didn't have a dog, I was starting the Purina Diet again. I added that I probably shouldn't, because I ended up in the hospital last time, but that I'd lost 50 pounds before I awakened in an intensive care ward with tubes coming out of most of my orifices and IVs in both arms. I told her that it was essentially a perfect diet and that the way that it works is to load your pants pockets with Purina nuggets and simply eat one or two every time you feel hungry. The food is nutritionally complete so it works well and I was going to try it again. (I have to mention here that practically everyone in line was now enthralled with my story.) Horrified, she asked if I ended up in intensive care because the dog food poisoned me. I told her no, I stepped off a curb to sniff an Irish Setter's ass and a car hit us both. I thought the guy behind her was going to have a heart attack he was laughing so hard. Wal-Mart won't let me shop there anymore. Better watch what you ask retired people. They have all the time in the world to think of crazy things to say. RIP Goose

I use Norton. It has never let me down. I used AVG and 3 times it missed something that cost me dearly. Resource hog? Maybe, but not running anti virus is silly IMHO. Its like not using a seatbelt in your car or riding a motorcycle without a helmet. It only takes one time to ruin your day.
