Man how did I miss this. I would love to see this thing fly in person. I mean it is by far one of the most beautiful planes ever made. -

Dude I am at the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, (Tinker AFB) they do depot level maint and upgrades to entire B-52 fleet. Its more than still competative. If you haven't noticed, it can carry JDAM's, AGM-142's, Harpoons, also it have has new ECM suites. It isn't your B-52 of of the 1960's. -

Oh I thnk we have moved from that poppycock to the F-4 in general. I can say the Iranians do not have the stuff the Turks, the Israeli's, or the JASDF have in there F-4's. -

Countries can only progress as far as the money can take them. Or as far as the government allows them to. Also there is the fact that countries like Turkey, and South Korea and Israel who have F-15's, F-16's and choose to keep the F-4 in their inventories. That says something right there. -

Um lets call that apples and oranges Mako69. You don't have like the F-4 at all but some people hold it in high regard. So leave them to it and quit shooting down what everyone has to say. -
Where do you catch that fish at?

Decals problem
Dave replied to Silverbolt's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
That is because you have reached the last decal of how many where made. So in the loadout screen, you need to check it before you go into the sim and adjust it accordingly. -

That Mako is a true statemnet, if the F-4 is your frontline fighter, then you might in wee bit of trouble. But the F-4 does have its place in the modern battlefield. It's called politcal pressure and lobbists, the same thing that turned the Navy into an all F-18 Navy. Nothing to do with the capability of the aircraft, it was about money. -

Most F-4's now can carry the AGM-142. Some have been modified to carry the AMRAAM aka Fetch em Fido. Others are modfied to carry the Litening pod. It has been modfied in Japan to a lethal anti shipping platform. Also one further the Turkish AF is doing, they are giving a standoff jamming capability with some very advanced jamming pods from Israel. So to say it would not make it in the modern battlefield is moot at best. -
....or killed in combat. I found over the years, that you have to check some of that stuff at the door to get the job done, or you may be responsible for getting someone killed or getting yourself killed. One thing though, is that you can admit it. Its the ones who can't that are the most dangerous. I can say this Warlord, we appreciate the public support and thank you for it.
