Lets see the got the JASDF flying F-4EJ Kai's by far the most advanced F-4's in the air to date. Then you got the Turkish AF flying the F-4 2020's, which is almost a completely different bird. Yes the air forces that are flying them are still flying them for good reason. Its one of the most potent A2G platforms in the air today. Now they have been updated with modern avionics and weapon systems they are even more dangerous than before.

Ain't that the truth, I run into those everyday. You know being away from my family is one thing but if I have to go, then I have to go and I am not about to run from it. It's what I signed up to do. I just would like to see some light at the end of the tunnel. Hell I have volunteered so much to deploy I had my CO tell me to stop flooding the deployment section with requests. I will get my time though. Doing 6 months is better than what I have been doing.

I usually get California rolls. With the imitation crab in it. My goal is to go to Japan and get some real local sushi to see how it goes from there.

Good points sparky all around but I still can't get passed the raw part. I have tried it though. I will try any food once or twice. I like to speak from experience when it comes to food instead people who don't like something but never tried it.

Shiner is good. But Sam Adams Irish Red is my replacement for it now. Talk about an incredible taste. In fact if I may be so bold, once you have an Irish Red you won't drink another Shiner. Has anyone tried Sam Adams Light? Man talk about a good beer.

I find myself anymore trying to find good beers to pair with my food. Sam Adams is by far the best mass produced US beer. But then you got all these little breweries that no ones hear about that some beer that are better than some of the European beers I have had. Greak Lakes Brewery comes to mind. Things like Miller Lite, Budweiser etc etc are just not beer IMHO. The sad truth is though, most places you go out to in America has those on tap and not much else. That is why Europe kicks ass in beer production. Good beer all the time on tap.

I tried sushi and I can leave it. Can't wrap myself around the raw part. Wife is a food inspector and she showed me the bad side of sushi. After that I will now never eat it again. My sister in law was a sushi fanatic until Sheila showed her too. Now she won't touch it. I make some mean grilled tuna steaks with a chiploti BBQ sauce.

I disagree there, it all depends on whose add-ons one is using. Some are really good, even better than the stock aircraft, some are not.

The USAF as an institution is good. It's just suffering from a lack of good leaders. I have my beef with a few people more than I do with the USAF as a whole. However I am not going to sugar coat it either. A lot more could be done.
