As much as more terrains are needed some of you harp on that too much. Fight the P-51D against the FW-190, F-86F against the Mig-15. When you are actually dogfighting are you really thinking about the terrain at that moment. You are not. That is the most hypocritical statement I have seen yet, um SF2, want me to make a list of planes from eras we all have done? So sorry that doesn't fly. We will never have it as good as we did with SF 1/2. I do wish the same though. Well actually it does, they are doing a WWII sim for example. Different teams are working on different aircraft and are releasing them as they are done. Just like we did in SF2. The problem is that people do not want to change, and are too stuck on a 12 year old sim. They do not want to learn something new. Well SF1/2 had a good run and the latest from TK just proves that its done. If Eagle Dynamics has a fault it is the marketing. They are confusing as hell. But that is minor. Right now for example that F-86F is fantastic. I'm having fun with it like when Zur released his 10 years ago SF1. If you don't want to fly DCS that's great, but some of the excuses are weak.

After playing with this for a couple days I really like this. It has a good mix of aircraft and it can be hard to get kills at times. The graphics are nice and the planes look really good. The controls are a slight pain to set up but what Ed posted about that makes it a less daunting task. You get a good bang for your buck that is for sure. Thanks Ed!

I saw one once at JFK airport in 1983. What I would of given to fly on it just one time.

They sure did a nice job on that. I am going to be honest though, I probably wont buy it as I do not have any interest in Mig-21's but to shoot down. It needs and flyable F-4 to go with it.

The F-86 is just so appealing to me because its simple, aim, fire guns, no advanced systems to mess with. Also I will dust off my paint brushes and get some skinning done. So yes ED will be getting my money.

I love this game, Atlantic Fleet is just around the corner.

I see lots of planes with their own pits but no one is releasing them. Why? I desperately want a dual role aircraft. I see F-16's with pits but no where to get them.
