  7. DA, I'll leave the small triangular windows simply because I don't know how to cover them. But personal opinion is that it will look better without them. As is, they're useless unless you just want to peek into the back seat area. Also, as is, Wrench set up the F-110 Wraith as a sort or single seat interceptor, fighter. No air-to-ground missions. The back seat has the avionics hump/pod he made for this plane. russouk2004, You make it sound so easy. I tried the copy the canopy piece of skin over the black square trick. Couldn't get the size right, so never looked right. But I'll keep trying. Was just glad to get the cover on. Thanks for the help. Looking forward to the piece with the shine on it.
  8. 'Look Ma ... No Back Seat!' Thanks to russouk2004 for his little black square and cryptic instructions about a fake pilot. Only took me three days to figure it out. Now I have to figure out how to get the little square bugger I painted to look more like the plane's skin. Thanks also to Sundowner for letting me see single seat F-4M 2000. It only took me two days to figure out I had no idea how he did it. (But I'm guessing it's some of that lod magic.) Now, if I can only get rid of those little triangular side windows ...
  9. Yep, every chopper I have flys in SF2, including all the AI main rotors turning, which is problematic in SF1 with many available helos including some of the YAP birds. In SF1 I've found at least one so far that the AI main rotors won't turn.
  10. YAP stuff looks great and provides items, like ground objects, etc, not found anywhere else, but, yeah, overpriced, incomplete ... as one friend said, he felt like he's paid for a redundant Beta version. BUT ... as there's very little else out there like some of the YAP stuff and friends and family ask me what I want for Christmas, I go for the gusto and challenge (since they're paying). (Besides it's either this or some electric floor sweeper/washer/dryer thing.) Just wish they'd release the missing weapons and effects for these Helipaks.
  11. That's news to me. And according to my last girlfriend, with whom I learned not to argue, I'm pretty well hung now. BTW: Are you still working on an F-100F?

  13. stuntman, Have you adapted the BLU-82 to use with the CH-54? I can't figure out how to remove the pallet as I don't think it was used with the bomb and this helo.
  14. Beware: Naughty Boys and Girls

That looks like my ex-wife!! (If it's not her, I'm positive Krampus visited her at least once a month and stayed for about a week.)
  15. Santa gave it to me as a Christmas present. (I think he mistook me for someone with a similar sounding name.) Now I'm wreaking havoc in the neighborhood. He got it from Yankee Air Pirate. YAP recently released some Helipaks. The CH-54 is in Helipak 4. http://www.yankeeairpirate.net/ModelSelectPage.html

  19. stuntman, I don't have the CH-54, yet, but I suggest looking through as many weapons packs as possible to see if you can find the BLU-82. It may be in one of your weapons folders in one or more of your installs. What tanks does it call for? Stratos, Some of the helos need a bit of adjusting, mostly mine need weapons adjusting. But most of mine seem to fly well in SF2. In fact, the AH-1F flies better in SF2 than in SF1.
  20. 'A Pack of Hunting Cobras' (Thanks to ianh755 and Florian the TOW missiles are placed correctly and working in the AH-1F Cobra.)
  21. Florian, Thank you. I now have the TOW missiles placed correctly for this helo. It wouldn't have been possible but for you and ianh755.
  22. I have a couple of questions regarding A2A missiles in Vietnam I'm hoping those of you with more knowledge can help me answer. My limited research hasn't turned up much and much of what I found was contradictory or didn't come close to answering these questions. 1. I've seen a few references to MiG-17s carrying A2A missiles in Vietnam, but by default this game doesn't allow for those in SF2V. I surmise the North Vietnamese Air Force didn't have the resources in missile quantity that the US/Allied forces had. And the problem with adding missiles to the MiG-17 is that they are almost always there. Don't know how realistic that is. And if they did carry them, which MiG-17 models carried them? 2. While flying a couple of missions in other planes, I've come across A-4s carrying just A2A missiles. I didn't check the mission parameters in the mission editor so I lost the opportunity to check what their missions were. The game allows them CAP as secondary missions in their data.ini files. Did A-4s carry A2A in Vietnam? And if so, about how often? TIA, Geary
  23. So ... Now I'm dealing with Attachment Angles for the first time. There are three sets of numbers: 0.000000,0.000000,0.000000. Anyone know what the numbers do/change for Attachment Angles? I'm trying to get the back end of the missile lower / front end higher. TIA,
  24. ianh755, Thank you. That was so simple I'm surprised I didn't think of it as I am by nature a very simple thinker. Now for the mundane part; adjusting missile positions in the launcher tubes.
