  1. Remembering My Father...

Thoughts and prayers.....it must be tough. Looks like some great memories there.....pay tribute to him by making more, especially with the Piper
  2. Sun N Fun Fly In/Airshow

Beautiful photos......love that old Spad, and wow, scooters on the airshow circuit! That P-39 has got to be a rare sight too. Man, have not been to an airshow in TOO long.
  3. Amazing work....wondering what time frame the Eagle got the darker gray paint scheme. I still remember the first time I sat in one (Moody AFB openhouse....'79?) was a 59th TFS bird. Frigging tall airplane, think they had airstairs set up! Pilot was cool, took a picture of me without me having to ask. Any other Fleagle driver I met after that was a complete smart a$$...While I was in the Army, (dad was still active duty, IP in F-4s at George.) Was at an airshow in uniform and had some wise a$$ Beagle driver say... "The levers your left hand are on make the trees go by faster, handle your right hand is on make the trees get closer or farther away" my sarcasm about made him do a backflip off the airstairs......"Yeah, I know what does what... my dad flies F-4s....I see you are a Lieutenant....he probably handed your a$$ to you a time or two" LOL "Get outta my airplane PRIVATE"
  4. Flaming Cliffs 3 ANG F-15 Skins

WOW, feel like a twatwaffle for asking about GANG....Great (and speedy) work....
  5. Flaming Cliffs 3 F-15 Skins

I just made sex in my pants......downloading the prepurchase now.....need a cig.
  6. Announcing DCS: UH-1H Huey

    mmmmm.....daddy like
  7. The Command Center II

SAS.....(Sweet Ass Sweet).....Side Controller works for me too, guess it's the viper lover in me. I wish I had a CP like that, but the laptop and Warthog stuff is packed up and taken between work and home. (I work 48 on, 48 off, so ya know there is always time for gaming) P.S. - love the books, I had a few of those exact ones...before the divorce. So they are probably strewn along I-65 somewhere.....
  8. IRIS, RAZBAM...either way I am a DCS sucker these days. That Beagle looks great, and I have had no hesitation in the past purchasing their work!
  9. "Phantom over Vietnam" by John Trotti....puts you right in the cockpit with him. Amazing how the Marine Squadrons, though at the bottom of the priority list on parts, frequently flew high sortie rates....on tires with the belt showing through, much less any tread on them. Night flying in weather that would scare the hell out of me....great read
  10. Pakistain is number ONE !

Same thing here in Kuwait. I can't google certain things without getting the "Prohibited" crap, but every ten year old in the dungpit is streaming porn on their own cell phone.....
  11. DCS/FC2 goodness

I am digging the P-51D that is for sure. Hooked on that one. Already had BS and A-10C, Still did not master those. LGBs and ATGMs are mind boggling to me, without a proper HOTAS setup. The part of the world (or map) it takes place is in is long in the tooth, but still find something new when flying through that world. Try following a canyon in the P-51, talk about challenging!
  12. OT: RIP :(

Sad news. I was just reading his pilot notes on the Sea Hurricane on the Historic Aircraft Association page. It puts you right in there, one could imagine piloting the aircraft with his in depth description.
  13. Been caught up in doing missions with surface action the last week or so. The Tico boats are awesome, love the Kirov, but the BB has been my fave. Took on a Kirov, and a number of other vessels. The Iowa was salvoing TLAMs and AGM-84s like a boss. The main batteries were opening up, and the secondaries. Love the UAV, orbiting. When is was all said and done, the old battlewagon was last one standing. Kirov did not fire anything in return if I remember correctly...
  14. Had a young Sea Eagle in front of my car

    Auburn University Raptors http://http://youtu.be/vD1EvxL4aiA?hd=1
  15. Had a young Sea Eagle in front of my car

This Sea Eagle, though majestic in it's own right, would be hard to photograph....
  16. Had a young Sea Eagle in front of my car

That is amazing! Rare indeed. I was back in the states a few weeks ago and got to tour the raptor center at Auburn University, many of their permanent residents and rescues were of this size. They are majestic!
  17. Convair Model 201 Shipboard Fighter

one of a kind, been waiting on this one!
  18. Always found the story line of Dhimar and Paran interesting. I have used the terrain with a few crazy custom schemes, like Paran with Blinders or Fiddlers. Probably not realistic, but fun. I like the Desert 3 terrain as well, with Sharnak and Dohar added as collateral nations. A parallel with Jordan and Syria seems completely believable, WK did some great skins for Paran. I dig the Mig-17PEV and have used it a bunch. Spinners had done those Dhimari squadrons, I thought about how nice it would be for an ORBAT on both nations.
  19. Love it. Love everything about it. A-7 Mig Killers? Why not, this game is our alternate version of reality!!
  20. F-16C Block 30/32 by The Viper Team

I always loved the schemes on the Greek birds. Great job team
  21. Mi-24P Public Beta

    My mouth just started foaming......
  22. New Arrival!

    Congratulations!
  23. Patience is key, I usually wait out a period before downloading, giving time for bugs to be identified and squashed....but man, I could not wait when SF2:NA was released...and ODS for 2 gen, forget it. I have found NA worth it just for the Hawkeye controller voice, I don't hate women's lib, but the chick's voice was getting on my nerves. Started to hear her in my sleep "Did you take out the trash?" "What have you been doing all day? Playing your stupid game?" Give it time, all will be worked out.
