That sliding down the hill part reminded me back in Iraq when we took cooler lids and used them as sleds to slide down the hills where our guard towers were posted. A lot of fun when you got nothing to do in a depressing place. -

That's why some of the folks that hired on during that time are friendly to military police officers. Daryl Gates was a hardcore, old school police chief with a somewhat controversial legacy. LAPD was a seriously bad a$$ department during his time serving as chief. RIP

I just realized that I had totally forgot to post pics of my new car. Well, here they are...

My next ride will be either a truck or a bike.

Oh, it gets better. After coming home from work in my... mom's car... I go to the garage to get the inflator pump to put some air into the tire since it is now completely flat. Well, after hooking it up to the tire, and begin pumping air, I noticed that the tire is not inflating. Dreading the worse, I look inside the rim and find that the bolt was apparently big enough to not only go through my tire, but also throug the rim as well. So now I have to go and buy a new Z06 rim, which from the dealer cost $837.00. Obviously, I'm not quite to happy to shell out all this money after buying this car. So I wise up and contact my insurance provider and they will be having an adjuster come out this Monday to take a look and give me an estimate to cover the damage. The downside of this is that my premium might go up. But it's a heck of a lot better than shelling out all that cash.

Yeah... and I just got to experience the run-flats that go with it. Ran over a 1" bolt that is usually used on truck wheels and it punctured the left rear. The thing that sucks about run-flats, once you get a puncture, you have to replace the tire... there's no fixing it... and if the tread on both tires is kind of low, then you have to replace both tires. Total damage... $1,140.xx! Each tire cost $499.99. Dealership was going to charge me $1,280.xx. Just Tires was able to beat that offer. I know where my tax return is going this year.

And now, for our feature presentation....

That's the thing that will make this movie great! The show was never really serious about being serious, but in the end, it was a hell of an entertainment to watch... and to make a movie off of that is just pure awesomeness! -

What? C'mon man, this movie is going to be great! I'm a big A-Team fan and have always wanted to see this show to become a movie. -
Um... this doesn't sound good at all. The aircraft they were in was an executive aircraft, something similar to a Cessna Mustang business jet. I don't think they can eject from those. I don't want to put a hex on the whole thing, but like I said, it doesn't sound good.

This is why I don't ride and keep an eye out for motorcycles. They're so easy to miss. However, if the bike is in front of you, there shouldn't be an excuse. It's right freaken there! Folks just don't pay attention. I always move off to the side to give room for a bike to pass by. I usually get a respectfull salute for it too. Sometimes not, but I figure it's not easy to operate a bike in thick traffic and give a guy a friendly salute at the same time.

Uh... I think you mean traitor, not trader. We don't kill folks for the import and export of goods... unless it's from Colombia.

This is what happens when you watch way too much Pirates of the Carribean. -
Well, if you are catalyst to terrorism, encourage/train/assist in attacks on Americans and/or against the United States, living abroad in our enemy's backyard, and have outright and publicly announced your disloyalty from the nation that you were originally from (a.k.a... treason), a peacefull and constitutionally respected solution will be at best extremely difficult. Not saying that the efforts should be exhausted, but when you force the hand of our leaders to take more direct action to resolve the situaiton, you're pretty much S.O.L. Guranteed, they will probably still put efforts into capturing him, like we did with Saddam. That soldier could have easily tossed that grenade into the hole and smoke that b****** to he11 and probably would have been congradulated for doing the job. However, he instead captured him. I think the situation here is that if this guy puts up a strong resistance when we move in on him, we have the green light to get on with it if pursuing efforts into capturing him will result in unnecessary loses.

Hm... if the boy was in deed violent and unstable, a fact that Russian officials faild to disclose, then I can kind of see why she was upset in adopting him. However, every adoptive parent should know that there is no absolute gurantee that the child that they are going to adopt will be this "golden" child for them. I don't know how international adoptions go, and if the adopting parents have an oportunity to get to meet the child prior to completing the adoption agreement. If they don't, then shame on them if they end up adopting a child that has some serious issues. Adopting is undertaking a serious responsiblity that is more unique and involved than any other. It's not like buying a puppy, having it around for a few weeks, and then sending it back to the pound/shelter if you don't like the pup. You just don't treat children that way, no matter what kind of issues they might have.
