2 days ago I was in a fairly large furbal with about 20 planes. I chasing a Farmer in an F-4D, and there were only 2 bogeys left. I was out of missiles and closing with full burner and guns hot. I heard, "Fox one" but pressed on thinking that he either fired at the other MiG, or the spear will hit him from another angle, before I get in range. Well, I didn't get the solution... Payback, I guess for having downed a dozen or so of my own guys trying to clear their tails over the years. BTW, Slartibartfast, getting hit by an AIM-9B?? I can't even hit the ground with that thing. I wonder what his angle was. -
