  9. One simple question about HUD: what fonts can be used on HUD captions ? In june/ july i tryed use this fonts for russian captions, because this fonts used on some real russian avioncs, but not able it to do.. http://rapidshare.com/files/144464285/gost.rar.html pass:gsto You can use this fonts to create russian captions on TGA & BMP files.
  10. Making Kh-38 is interesting work but some problems must be solved for do that: - i need drawings of this, i know first show of this missile was in MAKS-2007, searching drafts is a BIG PROBLEM - this missile has 3 or 4 different warhead, i'm not sure that in MAKS-2007 was showed all of them...
  11. Thank you! you avioncs it was start impulse for me, but i change more 90% of them, my scales is auto switched 150->100->50->25->10, interesting what INI script you use...
  12. Small problem: HUD captions is wrong, look's like you use LOOKON HUD for reference, but it has some errors Must be some like this, i used original Su-27 manual for reference for creating this Su-35,37 HUD's & avionics (WIP), if you want i can send you my HUD variant, you can use it directly or for refererence... Of course my HUD also not 100% correct, but i try...
  13. Grom-2 Missile (Yugoslavia) improved variant of Grom-1 AGM missile (Kh-23), has AGM-65B seeker & one nozzle instead of two in Grom-1 Grom-1 ini included, Super Galeb not exist in game, used improved MiG-29 (fictional) http://rapidshare.com/files/144409286/Grom.rar.html

  15. russian missile effective is VERY DIFFICULT QUESTION any missiles family must viewed separately with referense to ECM specifed ERA I work in russian defense industry more 10 years, but my father work since 1975, he was work at avionics for Su-17M4, Su-24 (different models),Su-27, Su-34, Su-30 , Tu-22M3, Tu-95, and some others, in 1997 he flew to China, for help to creation low fly POD's for attack planes. R-40 family - very bad situation realisation this missile have some important errors 1) R-40 has 6 very different variants R-40R, R-40T, R-40RD, R-40TD, R-40RD-1, R-40TD-1 R-40D family is mostly new missile with old body, used advanced R-23 seeker R-40D-1 used advanced R-24 seeker 2) R-40 can ONLY used on MiG-25P, R-40D, R-40D-1 can ONLY used on MiG-25PD, R-40TD-1 can used on MiG-31 family R-23 and R-24 - is new era in russian weapons. seeker of this missiles have mono-impulse mode, this mechanism provided "...works fine against Countermeasures" according russian sources R-23 the least sensible to Countermeasures missile of the world, up to 1982, when USA make AIM-7M. according russian sources R-24 work more good that AIM-7M but worse that AIM-7P. In combat trainings on russian programme "Agressors" (copy american trainings ) MiG-23MLD's "Agressors" withR-24 without problems win air battles against MiG-29 (9-12) with R-27 with counts 8:2, 7:3, 9:1, But Su-27's allways get out MiG-23MLD frrom the sky... R-27 Unique in detail the known case of application of R-27 was in the war-time in Ethiopia. The Russian mercenaries on Su-27's unsuccessfully fired at MIG-29's of Erithrea, piloted the Ukrainian mercenaries. Then Su-27 applied R-73 and 2 MIG-29 were destroyed. After a fight an inquiry was prosecuted, why all R-27 missed the target, it turned out that MIG-29's had done the protective manoeuvre with 8.5-9G. P.S. 21. Nuke SAM S25-215 test, not real, but FUNNY, 16 SAM's used -> 3 of 4 planes killed...
  22. I maked Matra R-511 missile, if you want have experimental R-510 with IR guidance (TV in REAL LIFE), just ask... also i maked ini text for AA-20 & AA-25 missiles (used AS-20 LOD, because AA-20 & AS-20 is two variant of one missile, & i don't have AA-25 drawings) http://rapidshare.de/files/40433419/r-511_aa-20-25.rar.html Mirage IIIC with 1 R-511 & 2 AA-20 R-511 fly to target, can recognize plane? i thinks no, it's Kh-20M converted to AI plane, he not not work 100% well, & i fully forget about it in some time, but today i launched qiuck mission to test R-511, and what i seen? Kh-20M - computer choise it for me...
  23. E-152 is Mig-25/2 = MiG-12.5 (russian humor), e-152 was used like test planes on the way to MIG-25. Mig-25 radar is advanced E-152M radar, mig-25 engines is E-152 engine. E-152M needed part in Mig-25 creation program. Good work!
  24. Yes 60 deg in azimuth sector & 60 ged vertical sector (from earth surface). Each radar can control 20 missiles launchers, but only 1 missile to 1 target firing (in SA-2 - 3 missiles to one target). I try do this use sa-2 network, but it's not work: radar lock my, but data from radar not providing to missiles... You can fix this & make FULL 100% historycal correct complex? I make some tests, addind radar to launchers... buster & sustainer need to correct: 217M fly to fast & can't look target...
