  1. Crazy things happening...

Thanks all. If it weren't for my commitments at home (my son and a woman I love) I would have done something like that too. I always had military blood running through my veines and no arthrosis or PTSD would stop me. Better to die for freedom than live in captivity, whether literally or as a figure of speech.Nowadays, we in the western world are mostly held captive by the over-tolerant left political climate. During my tour in Bosnia I have seen what "civilised" people can do to eachother, and we weren't allowed to actively intervene by force... those were politically made UN mandates... rules on paper. I know it is better to act than to discuss, and I would have tried to make a difference again if it were possible. So, in a way I am proud of my friend and a few other acquaintances who decided to go to IS territory and fight against them, by joining the Kurds. They seem the only group willing and capable to stand up against those fanatical morons... As for my friends... Losing them hurts... yep... Losing 3 in one month is a heavy blow. I am happy to know they had all honours at their funerals and I wish to have the same at mine.... but I am planning to annoy and irritate people for some more decades to come! See you later, Muesli!
  2. Hat's off to all of the artists.

There's no supply without demand, so thank you too!
  3. Does that work for the engine sounds, too? I seem to have the same trouble with the radials on some a/c.
  4. A-10s in Kuwait

    Those are some doity boids!
  5. Hi all, I had a wonderful trip today to the relatively new National Military Museum at the old Camp Amsterdam (Soesterberg) Airbase location. Too bad Derk Bodegom was ill, because I looked forward to finally meet him in person and get the VIP tour... but well, I will return! It was fabulous, and whenever you visit NL I recommend you visit it! I myself was happy to see an 'old friend' of mine; the Mercedes Benz GD290 Geländewagen ambulance which I drove in Bosnia back in 1994. Although not complete, it was a nice trip down memory lane and it was nice to see some vehicles in the white UN livery here... A fabulous visit which i will repeat, I recommend it to anyone!!! Muesli

  9. The Most Fun Car Chase Scene Ever

Maybe because i had three of these pocket rockets, so I can imagine the sheer fun of throwing the Mini around.... but this chase also is worth mentioning!
  10. File Name: Croatian Air Force MiG-21SM/MF File Submitter: Muesli File Submitted: 22 February 2015 File Category: MiG-21 A skin set for Russouk2004's Croatian MiG-21SM/MF òr 5tipe's MiG-21bisD. Two silver/grey skins for the early starting days of the Croatian Air Force (1991-ish), and two camo skins for the 1993+ period. Serials are used from Russouk2004's MiG-21SM/MF, so keep that in mind. If you want to use it for 5tipe's BisD, rename all skin files from "MF" to "BIS". Enjoy! Thanks to: - Russouk2004 for his MiG-21SM/MF_Croat. - 5tipe for his MiG-21BisD. - Unknown for the LSK camo skin I used. Let me know! - My tour, for the inspiration. Click here to download this file

  13. I was already looking for one more fitting than this one. I will try to find it and adjust accordingly. Thnk for the tip! Edit: hope this is more accurate. I think it is. Thanks again, 5tipe!
  14. Back to 1994, a trip down memory lane for me... (Certainly not 100% correct, but a nice stand-in I suppose)
