Hey everyone, I know it's been a while since I posted but I've been really busy lately so I haven't worked on the campaigns at all. Been playing with making a campaign in SF2E to refresh myself on campaign inis.

I would include the F-7s and the old MiG-21 variant squadrons simply so we have more targets. Just my $0.02.

Huh I was unaware that we had an A-4M mod or that there was an A-4F_74. That solves one problem. Thank you Allen and macelena. That's a good list for the 2nd Marine Air Wing. Elements of it will certainly be included. I'd also like to include VMA-322, a Marine Reserve squadron who was stationed in my state (probably the last Marine Corps aviation unit to be there) in one of the campaigns. DA, that's my one issue with the 57th, their constantly changing layout, be it the black knight on the forward fuselage or the checkerboard.

I'm looking for a way to make weekends at AIT pass quicker so I figured I'd work on a campaign. So, would anyone be interested in a campaign for the short war between El Salvador and Honduras in 1969? It's often regarded as the last time piston engined aircraft engaged in combat against each other. Most of the aircraft that took place are already available in the downloads section, or atleast the Corsairs are.

I hadn't thought to make a Soviet campaign, but a Forger campaign could be interesting to say the least! The span of the campaigns means both the Yak-38 and Yak-38M can be included. DA, already included those skins. What I'd like right now though are F-4C skins/decals. Does your decal pack include the full checker patterned vertical stabilizer for the SEA aircraft? The USMC units are going to be AV-8As, F-4s, EA-6As and A-4s. The issue is of course the lack of an A-4M. Were A-4Ls still around in 1978/79? Soulfreak, that F-4 looks amazing. Only a couple of the F-4Cs were repainted in ADC Grey when they came back from from overhaul in Spain before the F-4Es came in.

Well I've had issues with the wall, so sadly I won't be able to do a Football War campaign, but, I still want to make a campaign for the terrain, so I'm starting to think up a more regional conflict. If you have an idea for the campaign, I'm all ears since I'm partly distracted by two campaigns for SF2NA and with Skyrim.

I'd say that the recently retired JAS 39A/Bs from Sweden or F-16A/B MLUs would suit Croatia's needs. Realistically though, I think Hawks or M-346s would be better for Croatia's budget. We're probably going to see those MiG-21s flying for a couple more years instead, I'd imagine.

VMFA-115 (F-4Js) was actually at Keflavik for two weeks during Sept 1979 which is when Northern Sabre begins. I've been doing the same thing, upgrading the stock campaign as well as making a 1978 campaign (F-4Cs). It also appears that RAF No. 56 and 111 Squadrons spent some time at Keflavik in 1979. Anyone have details on that?

Hey just thought I'd let you all know that there's an article in the March 2013 edition of the Smithsonian Air & Space magazine on Misty FACs and F-100s. It's got interviews with a few pilots and is a pretty good read.

Finally got SF2V and was looking forward to flying Crusaders over Hanoi, but they aren't in the campaign's aircraft drop down menu. Bad install? Did I miss something? Or did TK decide that we need the F-8K or F-8E(FN) DLC to unlock the Cruds?

It's supplying me with F-4s and A-4s. It's only the F-8s that are missing. Everything else is showing up. I'll check the inis. Edit: Just ran the game again and I've got F-8s in SF2V now.

The SF1 Iran-Iraq mod had both countries flyable. It was fun trying to survive the Tomcat enslaught in a MiG-21 then going to the menu and switching to my Iranian campaign (and usually ending up getting shot down by an SA-2)

If for some odd reason the Football War cannot be done on the map, I'll proceed with what-if scenarios.
