Pits are among the hardest things to model, so there is a big shortage of people willing to do pit work.

There are no custom pits available for the planes you are interested in. Those planes use pits from other aircraft.

I have the VHS set; got the vids at the local mall about the time they were first released, I think. But I haven't seen a DVD version of the set locally. I hope they've fixed the typographical errors for the DVD release.

Are you using a compression program with your files and, if so, which one?

It is. That's why I have my computer and CD player hooked up to a mixing board.

Do the rivers and the oceans in your terrain have the same .tga transparency value? Also, if you are using .bmp textures for the rivers instead of .tga textures you won't get a motile water effect for the rivers.

I know this isn't much of an answer, but I've done some mirror modding in WoE and SF and have never found a way to change the image rez of cockpit mirrors. I think I spent an entire Saturday, several months ago, looking for the relevant values and just came up dry.

Main Menu > Options > Graphics > Graphics Detail Level > Customize > Cockpit Mirrors: Off/On

The only problem with that though is now you can't have country unique weapons.

Thanks so much for returning to the old loadout system with this latest Weapons Pack. I was getting *awfully* tired of doing 'AttachmentType' and 'WeaponType' edits for all of my planes. I added an Aphid-C heat-seeker to my arsenal without a hitch using the new 'WeaponsData.ini' as a guide.

The 'Gossamer Albatross.' Some people decided to take some straw and Saran Wrap and build an airplane that could be pedal-powered across the English Channel. The guy trained to fly the plane was so depleted halfway through the Channel flight that he started hallucinating. He was just inches off the water at the time. Still, refusing to give up, he sucked it up, pedalled the plane all the way to the French coastline, and landed safely.

It kind of redefined the term "powered flight" for me.

May I say that this really sucks?

Well, speaking for myself alone, if someone requests a file of mine that isn't uploaded somewhere, and if I still have the file, I'll give that person the file cheerfully. PM requests, forum requests, no problem.

I think if you intend to fly the more modern aircraft, you're going to want to install the Weapons Pack.

Ahhh! I didn't change the 'Normal' setting at all; that's why my mod didn't yield anything. Thanks for pressing on!

OK, I'm going to give the MissionControl.ini thing a go and see what happens.

Update: Scratch that idea; it didn't work. Planes flew at their default altitudes.
