After having released several sound packs and effects separately over the last two years, I've decided to combine everything into one, large package, allowing the user to pick and choose which sounds and which effects they wish to use, and to have the ability to integrate it with sounds and effects released by other modders. I've also provided a few ground objects to shoot at, which can also defend themselves to the fullest extant of their (sometimes limited) capabilities. I will provide instructions so that you can install all effects, sounds, and models. Credits: Chaparral, M-42 Duster, KS-19, and the KS-30 models are courtesy of Pasko. Chaparral camo skin is by Badger343rd. The M1939 is an adaptation of Kesselbrut's 40mm Bofors model. The KS-12 85MM AAA is an adaptation of the original SF/WoV KS-19 100MM AAA model by Third Wire. The SAM airburst effect is courtesy of PistolPete, as are the Ship and Tanker Explosion effects. The original idea for the Uber AI mod came from Galanti, over two years ago. I've simply updated it to utilize parameters that have been added since then.
  4. It's limited by the dates set under the singlemission entry, in options.ini file. That file resides in your mod folder(s). For example, editing the start and end year lines to match the following dates will cover everything from WW2 and onto the near future: StartYear=1939 EndYear=2020 For more infomation, I suggest that you read through the SF2 knowledge base.

  6. A way to make a cabriolet

No thanks...I'd rather let the factory do it.....
  7. Whatever....it's still not right
  8. Kevin, It has absolutely nothing to do with its arrestor hook. After carefully observing an AI carrier approach and landing, I realized that the FM needs revamping, as the model's diving for the deck. It in fact does so to such an extent, that it's registering more than 4 degrees of negative pitch on debug. I've successfully trapped aboard with the SuE, by coming in a bit nose high, just above a stall, and then flattening out at the last instant, greasing the mains onto the deck.

They should match, as any issues caused by reducing resolution on the bumpmaps versus the texture files will be all too obvious, especially on lines that "wrap" around corners or radiuses.
  10. Virus strikes US's UAVs.

    It's Skynet!!!!!!!
  11. And the phaser "rounds" are weightless in the gun data. Another issue was that I could not get the effect to work if I set the muzzle velocity to the speed of light , so I had to settle for a measly 10,000 m/sec Video: A flight of Vipers intercept an unknown contact over Central Europe during the 1980s It's kind of hard to kill something that's protected by deflector shields
  12. It's a Sketchup model that was ported over to LOD by Brain32. As soon as we receive permission from the model's creator, we'll make it available for download.
  13. CGN-25

Multiple textures and bumpmaps are the way to go. For example, while 6 1024x1024 textures and bumpmaps may total up to more than a single 2048 x 2048, they have less of an impact on systems resources than the single, higher resolution texure/bumpmap!
  14. How Government Works(A Little Joke nothing serious)

I worked for a state transportation agency, and that pretty much sums up how they operated. They seemed to be more interested in perpetuating and protecting a bureaucracy, then in actually providing a service to the public.
  15. That appears to have nothing to do with graphics settings, and is more than likely caused by a corrupted or improperly formatted tga file.
  16. Steve Jobs

He, like Bill Gates, was a marketing genius.
  17. Well, if that's the case, you should start working on textures for the MF F-14 series, ASAP
  18. Too Successful?

I'm sorry, but by the age of ten, the baby-coddling should be long over. When kids of my generation reached that milestone, we were expected to pick ourselves up after a hard tackle knocked the wind out of us, and dust ourselves off in time for the next huddle or scrimmage. If another team beat us out of either sheer talent or dogged determination, then we tried just that much harder to hand their asses to them the next time we encountered them on the field. Teamwork means that everyone involved pulls their own weight to achieve a defined goal. Anything else, is new-age defeatist PC nonsense.
