3rd Party sounds don't you know...sound!
warthog64 replied to GodsLt's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
For me it's just the engine sounds that stop working frequently, major annoyance! -

Cockpit position for SF2
warthog64 replied to warthog64's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
Sorry! This is the P-47D-20 by Wolf257. It also occurs with the Bf-109g-10 and P-40e -
Soviet invasion of Afghanistan install?
warthog64 replied to Stratos's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - Mission & Campaign Building Discussion
Didn't the USSR also use TU-22M bombers near the end of the conflict? If so that's another aircraft that we already have! -
My thoughts and prayers with all the victims and their families. My sister and brother-in-law used to go to that movie theater all the time, I just can't believe what happened. That shooter deserves to be humiliated, tortured, and killed.

I'm having the same problem!

First time updating SF2 Europe and mods
warthog64 replied to DEVIL11's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - Mods & Skinning Discussion
If you are updating the game to the June2012 patch it is installed in the C\Program Files\Thirdwire\StrikeFighters2 Europe, or C\Program Files\StrikeFighters2 Europe folder, depending on how you installed the game. All mods will go in the folder you mentioned however. (C:\Users\\Saved Games\ThirdWire\StrikeFighters2 Europe) -
Here's the weapons pack harryleith, http://combatace.com/topic/61633-sf2-falklands-82-fixes-updates/page__st__40 Thanks Wrench. The link is found at the top of the forum page. As far as exact historical loadouts though I'm not sure what the Argentine aircraft carried.

I know that FAA aircraft were armed with both French and Israeli made weapons, including the Matra R550 IR air to air missile, and Argentine Navy Super Etendards were armed with AM39 Exocet missiles. I also believe that US made Mk.82 bombs were also used. You may want to ask Dave or eburger68 as they have released great Falklands War mods for SF2. Hope this helps

Beautiful Photos! I forgot how beautiful Michigan is, great backdrop for the aircraft.

New SF2 Installer
warthog64 replied to JonathanRL's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
Wow! Thanks for the info Looks awesome! -
This year has been terrible for wildfires in Colorado, the lack of snow and precipitation in the past year has caused insanely dry conditions and hopefully some help will arrive soon from mother nature. I can't believe the size of the Waldo Canyon fire and how close it has come to Colorado Springs and the USAF Academy. It's crazy how much damage one bolt of lightning can bring. The enormous Hayman fire of 2002 was mostly in areas with very little population, this year the fires have spread in areas full of people and structures and I'm hoping for the best and a fast conclusion to these devastating fires. I'm wishing for the best of luck to all who have been affected by these fires.

Engine sounds with some aircraft
warthog64 posted a topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
Lately I have noticed that most aircraft in SF2 lack sound for their engines unless I constantly adjust the throttle. The sound files are fine but this issue keeps occuring. Any ideas? -
That is a great movie, even with the Hokiness of Hollywood mixed in!
