New SF2 Installer
warthog64 replied to JonathanRL's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
Wow! Thanks for the info Looks awesome! -
This year has been terrible for wildfires in Colorado, the lack of snow and precipitation in the past year has caused insanely dry conditions and hopefully some help will arrive soon from mother nature. I can't believe the size of the Waldo Canyon fire and how close it has come to Colorado Springs and the USAF Academy. It's crazy how much damage one bolt of lightning can bring. The enormous Hayman fire of 2002 was mostly in areas with very little population, this year the fires have spread in areas full of people and structures and I'm hoping for the best and a fast conclusion to these devastating fires. I'm wishing for the best of luck to all who have been affected by these fires.

Engine sounds with some aircraft
warthog64 posted a topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
Lately I have noticed that most aircraft in SF2 lack sound for their engines unless I constantly adjust the throttle. The sound files are fine but this issue keeps occuring. Any ideas? -
That is a great movie, even with the Hokiness of Hollywood mixed in!

Yeah that fixes it too, glad it's not just me having the issue. Hopefully we'll get a solution soon. -

Desert Storm SF2 Issue
warthog64 posted a topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
I just finished installing the ODS mod for SF2E and SF2NA and for some reason I can't seem to get the game to run with the graphics set at "unlimited". I have no clue why it's not working! Anyone else have this issue? -
Desert Storm SF2 Issue

I tried installing it in SF2E instead and it works fine. I have no idea why this is but it's good enough for me. Thanks Migbuster -
Desert Storm SF2 Issue
warthog64 replied to warthog64's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
Yeah, it's patched to May2012 but I never tried running it with the previous patches. Since it's an unmodded version I'll try reinstalling it and see if this makes a difference. I was trying to avoid this but I guess it's the only solution. Thanks -
Desert Storm SF2 Issue
warthog64 replied to warthog64's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
I'm running SF2NA on a system with an NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M graphics engine and 2782MB total memory, it's a fairly powerful system which is why I'm surprised it's not working with unlimited graphics. My other installations of SF2E and SF2I work fine this way. -
Vulcan for SF2
warthog64 replied to Lazarus1177's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
Here's the aircraft.....................http://combatace.com/files/file/12467-avro-vulcan-b2/ You must have the original aircraft from http://cplengineeringllc.com/SFP1/ in order for this one to work, you have to register at this site first in order to download. Here is a Black Buck skin......http://combatace.com/files/file/11435-enhanced-black-buck-vulcans/ Good Luck! -
amraam not firing?
warthog64 replied to greyhawk's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
Is your aircraft loaded with AMRAAM's on a mission, and are you selecting the proper radar mode? -
My sister had thyroid problems diagnosed in 2006, and in 2008 was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. After having her thyroid completely removed it took her a while to get back to her old self but she's fine now.. Last year she was found to have more possibly cancerous traces around her lymph nodes and was scheduled for surgery last June only to find out she was pregnant! The surgery was and still is postponed but she and my new nephew are both doing fine. It's crazy how common thyroid related problems are, and it can be dangerous if not diagnosed and treated. I understand how hard it can be for a family both medically and financially and I'm glad your family is fine. It was interesting to see such a similar story you had. God Bless Man and Happy Birthday!

Wow sounds like an incredible trip, can't wait to see the pics. -
Wow, I guess it has been 30 years since HMS Sheffield was lost along with 20 of her brave crewmen.

Don't forget the third kill by Oyster Flight on 5-10-72 scored by Pilot John Markle and WSO Stephen Eaves!

April 2012 Weapons Editor not working
warthog64 posted a topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
I just downloaded the new weapons editor and used it in SF2NA. However it will not save any weapons other than the stock TW ones. Is there a new location that the weaponsdata.ini needs to be saved? I havn't had this issue before. Thanks
