Just moved again and had to put 3D on hold again, PC's are ready to go, I just have some more RL stuff to sort out. I'm just glade I found this place. I'm 6 minutes walk to work. Well folks it's snowing hard here in GJ Colo. I'm putting one of my PC's back together. I'm still waiting to get the parts for my fast PC from Cal. I can't Mod until then, (Cry) I have limited Internet at the moment, but I'm getting that fixed in Jan. I've missed everyone since I moved, but it will get better in the next few months. I have to jump in here. Tiring to start with an existing 3D file is almost like going backwards. And you have to share the credits for the finished product because that's what right. Granted if the original was started for SF then there not to hard sometimes, but if it's just something that someone made then they can be a nightmare. I prefer to start from scratch., then all the mistakes are mine alone.

Well I got my RV cleaned out and now my empty apt. Is full of stuff I don't know what to do with. Every thing has 7 years of dust on it, but I'm happy as a clam. (Where in the hell did get all this stuff!) I got one of my PC's fired up, booted like I turned if off yesterday and I found a WOE install from 2007. No Easter Eggs though. Going to be awhile before I can get back into Modding, the job transfer in taking up 12 hours of my day. Well that's where I'm at at the moment, still need some shelves and Computer desk. It booted!! Yaaaa. Had to pull the memory several times and reinsert it, now I just need to slap in the new SSD (need a bracket still) and reinstall the OS. New AGP card is still in a box in CA. I'm waiting for my sister to mail it to me. Going to be a while to get it all together.

Quick update. Second PC (The better one) won't boot, not sure why. I can't even get into the BIOS. Any one have an idea. Comp was working when I shut it down so long ago?

I had that problem before. I made the decal 32X32 then stretched it to 512 tall by 32 wide and it looks normal now. Hope this helps.

Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy. I just rented a 1BR APT. I lived here befor (Homeless on the river) my 13ft RV is stored here also. Just need a Lic. Again. That's why I transferred here. Won't be moding much until I get setteled and my PC out of the RV.

I do what Russ dose, except I add some temporary pins, linked to each arm at the Pivotpoint, then align the arms by their (the pins) centers. Remember to remove them before export.

Transparency has to be set in Max prior to export as a .lod even though the game uses the Alpha channel of a .tga to set the amount of said transparency. If ya look at a .out file at the assigned materials list. The entry ' Transparency Enabled' will be there for canopies. (Or should be).

Any ETA on the Mobile version? Just wounding. Typo should be "Wondering."
