Make the politicians proud: Imprison yourself this time. (sarcasm)

Here is spooky map: https://coronavirus.jhu.edu/map.html Denmark: "the responsible Government Virus Institute cannot recognize the numbers, and they do not know who gives Hopkins the figures [for their map]." Afrika: Generally the clinics there do not have the means to determine anything like this at all. For example: I have been told personally by a doctor for tropical diseases, in the top hospital of my country, that they do not know a single trustable clinic in Nigeria. Not one. When it gets beyond the obvious they will say it is Malaria to be done with it.

Sorry to hear about the fragile health of some of your family members. Of course it is all understandable from that point of view. Did you actually know these people, or did you read about it? Here is nothing to see. Just fear and lack of things to do. Several relatives having a cold and being fine some days later. Then in some weeks I expect loads of economic damages + bailouts together with more tightened laws...

I am sorry for all the shit going on, and the size of this thing. But I am not going to just take all the stories on face value, or just from the size of TV exposure. https://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=auto&tl=en&u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.agenzianova.com%2Fa%2F5e6bcf1da7fbe3.23491954%2F2851060%2F2020-03-13%2Fcoronavirus-iss-in-italia-i-decessi-accertati-finora-per-causa-del-covid-19-sono-solo-due

I agree with this part. I manage my own health, don't want or need their rubbish. Edit: Here is a nice article describing the "testing" for COVID: https://thedoctorwithin.com/blog/2020/03/10/newsletter-march-2020/

SERIOUS PROBLEM ABOUT PERFORMANCES REQUIRES HELP ASAP PLS
gerwin replied to JamesWilson's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
"Downloaded some aircraft", is like modded to some degree. Although from the rest of your description it indeed sounds more like a Windows 10 or modern driver issue. Cannot really help you with that. I don't use Windows 10. I do know of about certain tweaking software for windows incompatibilities, but they are not easy to use: http://dege.freeweb.hu/ https://sourceforge.net/projects/dxwnd/ May be more worthwhile switching to Strike Fighters 2 instead.- 16 replies

SERIOUS PROBLEM ABOUT PERFORMANCES REQUIRES HELP ASAP PLS
gerwin replied to JamesWilson's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
Note that modded content often impacts framerate. So when you say SFP1 lags, is that an unmodded or a modded game?- 16 replies

My try at 3D objects
gerwin replied to gerwin's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - Mods & Skinning Discussion
Yeah I know that is always an option, and I appreciate it. I do/did that for some files like skins. But my preference was to keep the things that took much time and effort on a place of myself. I will see how it goes. Just wanted to give a heads up on this as early as possible. About the Internet archive mirror. I added the files that they missed, so everything is mirrored there now. :) -

Updating the first post of this topic: finished and released, as shown in image below: http://www.gb-homepage.nl (Go to link above, then click on the Strike Fighters page) Original post below this line. ------------------------------------------------- My try at a 3D object: HEMTT / Oskosh / M977. In US service from 1982. This is one with a bigger bed, no crane. The shape is low-poly on purpose, but the dimensions are pretty accurate. The texturing has hardly started. Will use one texture for the base+cabin+wheels, one for the bed. I did not shape it with 3dsmax, but used engineering CAD software, then imported it. It went remarkably well, just that the scale was way off. Some things I am uncertain about; Are these names in the list proper mesh names, will I be able to explode the vehicle with detaching wheels and such? And can the windows be made translucent? -

The news reached me today, that Dutch internet provider Ziggo will close down all the webspace on their servers in april. That includes the webspace from provider Quicknet that was taken over by Ziggo years ago. Point being: My site! It is a bit sad because IMHO such webspaces were a good thing for free speech on the net. I will try to find an alternative place to host the same things in the same way. But the original address will definitely become unreachable in about a month. Edit: The pages also remain here, though I don't know which files they mirrored: https://web.archive.org/web/20190720112211if_/http://members.quicknet.nl/lm.broers/index.htm -

3ds Max Help
gerwin replied to WINGSOVERISRAEL's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - Mods & Skinning Discussion
Every node in a LOD model has origin coordinates (x and y and z) and origin axis (x and y and z), these are then added to the origins of any parenting nodes. I suspect you reverse engineered something and these origins are now messed up. Edit: right, Pivot is the word in 3DSmax, not origin. -
