Doing some modification again: YEYEYE's cockpit with the mixture of MF's 2000-5 avionics. Still cannot get the RWR to work? -

Not the place to ask...? Dave, EricJ, and all involve... Excellent shots of the new Classic Hornet. Are you guys also going to change the UHF blade on the upper spine and the lower belly UHF to an "angle" shape? Or is it not possible due to the .LOD? I wish I have time to play and skin more aircraft on the SF2. Looking forward to all the NEW stuff! Ianh755 - nice job on the GR4 -

Just copy the content from the optional folder to the respective fold. I think I did the best on pylon attachment and the weapon attachment angle. I want to thank my good friend "Alejandro" for sharing his excellent mode using the "fake pilot method" Additional Credits: TK/Third Wire Spillone104 If I missed anyone it is not intentional and you have the full credit for your work. Thanks to 'Svetlin' for reminding me and pointed to the pylon MODE that 'winterhunter' made for his Cheetah_C on SF1. Not the best... but the position seem to be on the best area given the mode was design for Mirage IIIC. -

Copy the content from each of the folders to your respective folder on your game. Contain the following aircraft: J-2304 J-2308 J-2325 J-2326 R-2102 R-2106 R-2108 R-2118 NOTE 1: (Fuel Tanks) The aircraft uses DLC Mirage5BA_80.LOD; which has built-in (1700-ltr fuel tank/ 500-ltr supersonic tank mesh). Due to my asymmetrical loadout it was necessary to make a separate (1300-ltr fuel tank and 500-ltr supersonic tank). The reason for the separate fuel tank is because of the following: 1. The aircraft does not use 1300-ltr fuel tank as part of its .LOD (I wanted to have this aircraft to be able to use the 1300-ltr tank). 2. I added a 'centersupersonictank' station for this aircraft, which cannot use the built-in mesh of the 500-ltr tank. Note 2: (Fuel Tanks) You can only pair one weapon type with the 1700-ltr tank as an asymmetrical loadout. The reason is as follows: 1. Asymmetrical loadout with 'one' weapon type on the inner left or right station can only pair with the 1700-ltr tank if that is your selection. 2. Because I needed to have the 500-ltr supersonic tank as a pair loadout to be part of the special paint scheme of aircraft J-2308... I couldn't allow the weapon station to be asymmetrical. 3. You can still select any asymmetrical loadout with different weapon type on the inner left or right station. You just 'CAN NOT' pair it with a 500-ltr or a 1300-ltr tank. 4. You will always have a pair of 500-ltr tank or 1300-ltr tank as a set loadout on the inner wing station. 5. Center station can select a 500-ltr tank or 1300-ltr tank. Muchas Gracias.... Short of not having 'wing fencing', 'shark-tooth leading edge on the wing', 'shoulder/belly pylons', and some minor 'blisters'.... This is as close to an actual Cheetah E without having one of our great modders do a complete aircraft. -

Hello All I forgot to change the avionics to 70 series. Make sure you change the following from AvionicsDLL=Avionics60.DDL to "AvionicsDLL=Avionics70.DLL" After the change you will have full RADAR function. In addition, you can go to the Data.ini and add more weapon types Cheers -

Adding Model Node to aircraft?
ace888 posted a topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
I have not look through the combatace forum or research it yet. Since there is a way to remove component from a aircraft .LOD. I was wondering is there a way to add components to the aircraft .LOD? Other than the 'fake pilot method' I am working on the DLC Mirage 5BA. I know that as part of the aircraft .LOD it does not have shoulder or belly pylons. The following is my guess of trying to have the pylons on the aircraft... [AircraftData] DestroyedModel=Mirage_Destroyed.LOD DestroyedEffect=VehicleFireEffect EmptyMass=6900.0 EmptyInertia=54975.1,6437.0,61522.5 ReferenceArea=34.84 ReferenceSpan=8.22 ReferenceChord=5.46 CGPosition=0.0,0.00,0.0 Component[001]=Fuselage Component[002]=Nose Component[003]=LeftWing Component[004]=RightWing Component[005]=LeftOuterWing Component[006]=RightOuterWing Component[007]=VertTail Component[008]=Add1 Component[009]=Add2 Component[010]=Add3 Component[011]=Add3 [Add1] ParentComponentName=Fuselage ModelNodeName=shoulder_pylon_L_ok AddedNodeName=shoulder_pylon_L DetachWhenDestroyed=FALSE HasAeroCoefficients=FALSE [Add2] ParentComponentName=Fuselage ModelNodeName=shoulder_pylon_R_ok AddedNodeName=shoulder_pylon_R DetachWhenDestroyed=FALSE HasAeroCoefficients=FALSE [Add3] ParentComponentName=Fuselage ModelNodeName=belly_pylon_L_ok AddedNodeName=belly_pylon_L DetachWhenDestroyed=FALSE HasAeroCoefficients=FALSE [Add3] ParentComponentName=Fuselage ModelNodeName=belly_pylon_R_ok AddedNodeName=belly_pylon_R DetachWhenDestroyed=FALSE HasAeroCoefficients=FALSE Anyone that has the right information and would like to share... is greatly appreciated. Or maybe I am just wasting my time and the only method is the 'fake pilot method' Thanks in advance -
Adding Model Node to aircraft?
ace888 replied to ace888's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
Florian: Thank you for the information. I was guessing it is not possible other then making the model the way you wanted, via weapons, or the fake pilot method. Spinner: I wanted to use the Mirage 5BA to more reflect the Cheetah E aircraft. Gents, thanks again for the information and help... Cheers! Ace888
