  1. Well, yeah, they are using the LPs from Thales (Damocles), at least for the case of the Indian Su-30MKIs and our Su-30MKMs.
  2. Yup, did place the files in the parts folder, but only the pylons showed up for me. The original IRST is already deleted.
  3. It would. All you need to do is just open the weapondata.ini it with the editor, and save it.
  4. Forgot which variant, probably a later Mi-17-based config with the add-on armour...wait, did I see something on the exhaust outlet (don't remember seeing it on the original models)? What was that called again?
  5. Thanks for answering that guys, we need to tell the others about this so they won't get confused. So how does the variable work, by adding SpecificStationCode to the WEAPON_STATION?
  6. Wait. I found out WHAT caused all this (the problem is that the missiles does not show up at all in the loadout screen, as in, they are not available (in other words missing). Checked all the attachment points (WP,SOVIET, so it should work) etc, they seemed to be correct). Answer is...the SpecificStationCode variable (all the Russian missiles have something written in the variable, removing the variable entry solved the problem)...what does it do anyway? I don't know, but seeing R-77s/AA-12s and R-74s/ later AA-11s in the WoI pack seems to tell me something else.
  7. Alright, performed another fresh install for my WoE and used only WoI WP...and now, the problem I faced is that some weapons did not show up (Soviet ones, that is). What gives?
  8. Discovered few things: 1. Missing IRST. I supposed you did have a new IRST for this right? 2. Mixed StationID (LeftInnerStation2 and LargeCenterlineStation shared the same StationID). Otherwise, good work on making the Flanker more lethal.

  10. Obviously. Just unrar/unzip the rar/zip you downloaded and overwrite the ones you have in your install. Well, uh, I haven't try it myself, just to be sure, but since the other previously WoI-exclusive features works now...

  12. BVR engagements got more exciting. Took down a pair of F-15Cs with the Novator ultra-long-range-AAM mod someone posted in CA.

    The fastest thing ever to fly over my mom's working place was the Su-30MKMs (and last year they even practiced thrust vectoring, mid-air, in the middle of the city centre! That was a sight). And once did a formation of those MiG-29Ns flew not-so-high above a friend's condominium block.

  17. Well, uh, it's a question about the FMs needs some major tweaking. But Flankers are extremely fun to play with this time.
  18. Did not delete the WEAPONDATA.dat in my case. Copied them over from my backup folder, opened them once through the WoI/FE editor, saved them, and it worked like a charm. Veltro2k: The other problem you mentioned is something to do with the FM (at least for the airbrakes, and swing-wing aircrafts do get their fair share of problems too), although you can check for the canopies with the 'opening canopies' mods around here.
  19. Memory is not the only factor, as far as I'm concerned (I'm running a laptop with 2GB of DDR2 RAM). Graphics settings (and the graphics card you have), processor, and a host of other things have an effect on the in-game FPS rates. In my case, the game still suffers when I get the graphics to Unlimited (that is also because of the ATI X1400).
  20. Now we shall wait to see if there is any fixes to the birds. The Flankers went from 'the most super-maneuverable bird' to 'completely and downright insane to the extent that it can flip out without warning'. Also, I can't believe my OWN creations (the F-14D SLEP I posted in one of the previous pages) engaged me in BVR with Sparrows (and I got killed in the process...the AI did get smart). And countermeasures doesn't work as well as in the past (well, that was expected), but escaping missiles with a plane that suddenly goes negative in terms of speed is a challenge.
  21. No problem, just to tell the others that my weapons folder is working fine. Some people been saying Bunyap's didn't work or something, lol (well, the JDAMs are Bunyap pieces).
