Either it is a photoshop thing to fool the west, or they make a target for anti carrier strike training missions. Later would make sense, but personally i think its a fake.

With the long 75mm gun of Panther you can also penetrate a Type59 or a T-54, but killing is very difficult. As you said. With the 88mm i had no real success on Panther. The pene was to weak. With my T-54 i have now enough exp to get one of the top guns. But i dont know which i should choose. The D-10TC (correct it would be D-10TS TS= tank gun with stabilisator, because the russians have no letter C) with weaker penne but higher accurancy or the D-54TS with better pene and weaker accuracy. Any idea?

At my system the loading of a mission in SF1 is below 15 seconds, while on SF2 i have loadtimes between 2 and 3 minutes. In this time i can go away and make a coffee.

Thatswhy the Panther is not very loved in game. The VK3002M is much better and brings much more fun. The higher tiers mediums are all difficult to play. There are only few maps where you can really use the strength of a med, while the most maps prefer the heavies. On US Server i went from Panther to the Indien Panzer and then to the Leo Prototype A. Its painfull. Perhaps the way to PantherII and E50 is better. These vehicles have armour, while the Leo has only paper.

Depends on your computer. WoX or SF1 is much faster on older an weaker systems. SF2 is better on newer computers with dual and quad core.

Ich glaube, daß ich das Problem jetzt im Griff habe. Nach ein bisschen herumbasteln bin ich auf den Wert CGPosition=0.00,0.30,0.00 gekommen. Danke für die Hilfe.

Geht auch ohne. Bin bisher auch ohne ausgekommen. Wahrscheinlich nimmt die Gameengine dann an, daß alle Werte = 0 sind. Der Eintrag der Zeile CGPosition=0.00,0.0,0.00 hatte jedenfalls keinen Effekt. Vielleicht muß ich den Masseschwerpunkt etwas nach vorn verschieben. Ich nehme an, daß der zweite Wert die Y-Koordinate ist, also die Längsachse darstellt. Bei einem positiven Eintrag müßte sich der Masseschwerpunkt nach vorn verlagern und bei einem negativen Wert nach hinten. Ist das korrekt?

Ich habe das mit der verringerten Landegeschwindigkeit ausprobiert. Es hat ein wenig geholfen. Nun passiert es nur noch selten, daß das Heck die Landebahn berührt. Eine CG Zeile habe ich nicht in der ini. Das probiere ich morgen mal aus. Heute habe ich keine Lust mehr. Ist zu spät.

Muß ich mal testen. Was ich schon rausbekommen habe ist, daß das Heck nur dann aufschlägt, wenn ich die ganze Kanonenmunition verballert habe und nicht mehr viel im Tank ist. Mit vollem Kampfsatz oder vollen Tanks landet das Teil wie eine 1.

Ich habe gerade ein kleines Problem mit dem FM für die Ye-8. Das Ding fliegt sich wirklich toll. Starten und rumkurven ist kein Problem. Ist eine wahre Freude mit der Ye-8 die Phantoms zu verdreschen. Nur mit dem Landen hakt es ein wenig. Genau gesagt mit dem Abbremsen durch den Autopilot. Wenn ich das Flugzeug mit Autopilot lande geht alles glatt bis zu dem Moment, wo er abbremsen will. Dann nimmt er die Flugzeugnase nach oben und das Heck kracht auf die Landebahn und wenn man Pech hat fängt die Kiste an abzufackeln. Das sieht dann so aus: Das die Nase beim Abbremsen nach oben geht ist aus meiner Sicht kein Problem. Das macht man bei der F-16 in der Realität ja auch so. Wie kriege ich aber den Autopiloten dazu die Nase beim Abbremsen nicht zu stark anzuheben? Beim Start ist das kein Problem. Da gibt es die Zeile: [AIData] TakeOffRotationAngle=3.5 Gibt es für die Landung auch so einen Eintrag? Ich finde nämlich nichts.

Ich glaube, dass kennt ihr alle. Man fährt auf der Autobahn oder läuft über einen Parkplatz und sieht Autos mit einprägsamen oder auch lustigen Kennzeichen. Two days ago i had a cool battle which shows, that not always the team wins, which got far more kills. It was in Himmelsdorf, Wintermap. My team was on the north base. 5 of us, 3 T-18, 1 Vickers MkVII and my PzII rushed the hill. Near the castle we faced only one enemy vehicle, a Cruiser MkIII. The T-18s and the Cruiser exchanged some fire, damaged each other, but got no kills. Then both sides hides and waited. Dont Know why 3 T-18s waited if the Cruiser had only 22% lifepoints left. But no matter, i arrived the scene, drove to the hiding Cruiser and gave him a full salvo, which killed him. He had had no chance to fire one round. Then our 5 tank team drove down the hill to capture the enemy base. In the meantime the rest of our team lost the battle without killing some enemies, so that we 5 faced 14 enemies. And at this point the enemy made a big mistake. Instead to capture our base he tried to kill all of us. Then we were with 3 vehicles in the base to capture, while 2 T-18 covered the main entrances. While we conquered the base i shot one enemy Vickers MkVII into a wreck, the T-18s got 5 kills, while we lost 2 T-18s. And finally we won by capturing the base with 3 vehicles alive vs 8 enemies. Cool.

More Eagles at the Baltics is only a little bit rathling with the sabre. No one with brain in the head will risk a war in europe, not for the Crimea which historicaly seen belongs to Russia. The politicians of both side will play a little bit "wild dog" for a while and in 2 or 3 weeks the game is over. Then the people of the Crimea will have voted for their independance from Ukraine and will be part of mother Russia again. Then a political solution will come. The Ukraine will accept that the Crimea is now russian again and will become a benefit from west, who will give some billions of Euros for economical recovery of Ukraine and Russia will sell oil and gas again for the 30% margin. Nothing harmed, only the ukrainian proud. Much better than as to rise a new cold war with sanctions and contersanctions. Alone in Germany more than 300.000 jobs are closely related with export to Russia. German investments in Russia are around 150 billion Euro. No way, that Chancellor Merkel will risk this. Thatswhy she allows the polish, lithuanian, french etc politicians o bark out for a while. And when she believe that it is enough, then she will stop it.

In game the western missiles are overrated. Its nomal. Its an american game. From stock it is intended only to fly "blue" birds. To make it easier for weaker pilots the balance of weapon efficency is moved toward the blue missiles. No problem with it. Then we have only 360°, 180° and 60° aspect angles for the seeker heads. In reality the all aspect seaker heads came much later. Even the AIM-9L had had a launch field rather in shape of a horseshoe than a ring. During Libanon War 1982 was nearly no head on shot with AIM-9L successfull. The missiles became deadly when the israelis used it for tail on shots. The Launch envelop was around 320°. A lock on of a head on target was only possible if the enemy used the afterburner. Otherwise the seaker head was unably to lock on. This has changed in the late 80th.

Panzer II is cool. I have a lot of fun with it. As i already said: The real fun is at the low tiers!

Its politics on the back of the sportsmen. They train hard for 4 years and then come some unsporty politicians and says "No go!", only to blame other politicians or states. If politicans have problems with each other, then they should find a solution without harming others. Olympic games are the most important thing for a sportsmen. I know, that a lot of people are unwilling to understand it. The mix between sport and politics is more than unhealthy.
