  1. Dear Activist

A coin has always two sides. A lot of people only can think i black and white schemes. But the world is not only black and white. If Israel is a democracy, than it must understand, that is is compared with other democracies, not with dictatorships or terror organisations. It must be possible to say critical words, and there some Israelis have some mental problems. In their eyes a critical word to Israel is already "Antisemitism". In their eyes all things Israel is doing are correct. All actions are allowed, are good. All critics is bad or stupid. Is this democracy? No. As a friend of Israel i want to say if something is wrong there, whithout become called a "Antisemit". And i also want to say if something is good there. Because the world is not black or white.

  5. Mi-2 made in Swidnik

Hi folks, when i served out my army time 23 years ago, i was in a helicopter squadron which used the Mi-2. Sometimes our birds were armed with 4 machineguns PKT or two Mars-2 pods. Our pilots were more or less satisfied withe the Mi-2. It was said, that she was a little bit underpowered and underarmed. But i remember that one pilot said (or was it the weapons officer of our base? Its a long time ago!), that in Poland the Mi-2 was used with Maljutka ATGM's and a 23mm gun and that some Mi-2 were use the Strela as air to air missile. It was a rumour, but now i'm curious. Does someone can confirm that the polish forces used Mi-2 with ATGM's, 23mm gun and Strelas? And is the Mi-2 still operational in Poland? Thx Michael (Gepard)
  6. Whatever became of Colditz Castle?

Ehm, Colditz castle is at no means a good example for POW camp in Third Reich. In contrary. It was a special camp for western contry officers ( i hope this is the correct english term. At Colditz Castle were french, belgian, dutch and british Officers of higher ranks, no simple soldiers or sergeants). They had a good life there, because it was a "show" camp for the Red Cross. At Colditz castle POW's lived under the conditions of the Convention of Geneva. They had their own theatre and their own cinema. They got packages and letters from their relatives at home via Red Cross. If a POW attempted to runaway and was cateched again, he had not to affraid hard punishment, so that runaway attempts of british and french officers were their "kind of sports". It was a Gentlemens POW camp at Colditz castle. In contrast to the "luxurity life" at Colditz castle over 2 million soviet POW were killed in german POW camps. The conditions for eastern european POW's were very bad. Today Colditz Castle is a museum, i guess its perhaps 60 or 70km from my home. Already to GDR times, at the high tide of cold war, british traveler groups visited Colditz castle and this hasnt changed today.

  8. File Name: Su-22M4 Fitter-K "Susi" File Submitter: Gepard File Submitted: 25 December 2007 File Category: Modern Soviet Aircraft Su-22M4 Fitter-K "Susi" *************************************************** Credits *************************************************** This is a mod of Armourdaves Su-17 Fitter C. Dave, thanks for the permission to use your files. My little share was to introduce the HUD and some modifications of the Data.ini. I implemented the guided weapons, added armour, reduced the fuel consumtion and modified the european style camo skin to a fictive east german Susi skin. *************************************************** Su-22M4 *************************************************** The M4 was the last and most advanced version of the swing wing Fitter family. It was an unique combination of the very robust Fitter design and high developed computer technology. It was known for it high survival capabilities. While in use in the LSK/LV (East German Air Force) the very robust Ljulka engine "eats" some birds and in one occasion a complete pitote tube without to suffer damage. While life firing tests in the USSR the tanks of the "Susi" were rippled by 12.7 mm and 23 mm bullets with the only result, that the technicians found the bullets "swimming" in the fuel. It was also said, that during Lebanon war 1982 not one single Su-22 was destroyed by israeli ground fire. While the first Su-22 were simple dumb iron droppers the M4 had a wide range of high sophisticated guided Air to Ground missiles. This missiles were guided by Laser, TV and gave this bird a limited stand off capability. The high accurate missiles proved lethal pin point hit capability during Afghanistan campaign. Anti radar missiles were also part of the "Susi" armament. ********************************************** INSTALLATION ********************************************** 1. unzip into your aircraft folder subfolders will be automatically created 2. Copy the files of Pilot folder to your aircraft folder Thats it! Enjoy flying. 3. If you dont use the Weaponpack and want to wish to use the Cha-25 guided missiles, open folder Su-22M4\Weapons and follow the instructions of the readme file there. ************************************************ For remarks, comments, bugs, etc please use CombatAce forum or send me a PM. Hope you enjoy it. Michael (Gepard) Click here to download this file

  11. Was zum Lachen

Pech gehabt.

F-7ME IRAN (Fiction) ***************** ---------------------------------------------------------- I. In the 1980th the F-7M was a modernized export version of the chinese J-7II. With the help of US american and british companies the Chinese put new avionics into the old airframe. Mainly the british Skyranger rangefinder radar and a HUD, but also an improved engine and 4 instead 2 wing hardpoints increased the combat capabilities of this bird. The F-7M was exported to Iraq, Egypt, Iran and other 3. world contries. In the late 80th, early 90th the chinese developed the J-7E version with double delta wing, increased fueltank volume and ecm jammer. The new wing, which was fitted with slats improved the agility of the plane by 84%. It can now turn with a rate of 25°/sec. The F-7ME is fiction. It is a iranian F-7M updated to J-7E level. This mod is made for WOI, but will also work with WOE. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ II. 13. Yak-38M

no its only for SF2NA available
  14. Its a question of experience. If you know where you have to aim, you will hit the enemy. Often it helps to switch of the radar and aim manually.

  16. Sea Harrier Over The Falklands

The argentinian Mirages operated on their outer range. They had had no chance to use their afterburners, so they were inferior to the Sea Harriers. With Skyhawks on PS the reconquest of the Falklands would have been much more challenging for the british forces.
  17. Set no blue ground units to Keflavik or weak ones, for instance M113 and soviets units with T-55. Could work.
  18. Its a little bit more realistic. The AIM-9L was overrated in the previous games.
