  4. What if the Ye-8 prototype would have become the MiG-23? The soviets would have had a fighter nearly as agile as a F-16A one decade before the Viper.
  5. You could switch the RP-22 to send out a continuous beam, so that you could use it as rangefinder to a ground target. But ground mapping was not possible. The RP-22 had more in common with RP-23 of MiG-23, than with RP-21. It was able to guide the R-3R missile, but not the RS-2US (AA-1 Alkali).

  12. Today i was able to finish the TOD objects placement on Guernsey island. I dont know how many trees and houses i placed on the 34 tiles. It must be thousands. The result looks so: The next step will be to convert the tiles from jpg to tga format. So i will get the waves. BTW waves. They were defined by waternormal.bmp file. I have tried to replace it with a jpg file, but i had no success. Does someone know in which ini file the waternormal.bmp can be found?

    The most pictures of ukrainian F-16's are paintshoped fakes. The only reliable pictures we have came from an interview which Selensky gave, when the first F-16's arrived in Ukraine. The picture show complety grey birds with no tactical numbers or other markings.

  18. Weapon tests showed, that the GSh-23 was to weak against tanks or AFV. Thatswhy the GSh-30-6 was developed and this was a beast, especially when used with the proper ammo. I think the same is with western guns. Caliber 20 mm is to weak to do real harm.

  20. The terrain LOD files are hard coded, so you have no access to this files. Thatswhy i belive nobody can answer your question.
  21. I found on a russian model site a nice walkaround photo strip of an egytian MiG-29M2. It consist of 140 photos, which are high detailed. Here one example: The other photos you find here: http://scalemodels.ru/news/16193-Walkaround-mig-29m2-vvs-egipta.html It is surely a good source, if one of our talented model makers want to create this modern MiG-29 version.
