Poland Blitzkrieg
Shaolin replied to Wilches's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
The open cockpit method only works in '08 patched games, the prop planes only work (good) in '06 patched games - so it wouldn't really work as intended... But talking about the canopy frames - as far as I remember were a lot of modifications (variants) used in the produced planes, and many of them were field-modified to later standards (there were even E-1 with the 20mm wing-cannons)! I don't think the small differences in the canopy frame makes such a big difference when you fly the crate - there are more important things... (And btw: Kesselbrut's pit is fantastic - but where can I get the Revi tgas?) -

You recognised we are post-'45, right? If Europe is that anti-semitic, why have most Eropean countries boycotted the anti-racism conference (used as a anti-Israel podium by Ahmenisomething) this year? The only negative comments today towards Israel are regarding the new settlements in palestinensic territory and some of the exessive use of violence in Gaza... -

Well, it needn't to be saved from communists... (And, if saving the world from communists means insalling crazy dictators and organisations like the Mujaheddin, I prefer the commies!) But to tell you one thing from a non-US viewpoint: Most parts of the world really think more positive of the States now! In the past the US kind of talking to the rest of the world was like "We have the biggest b*lls, do what we want!". Now we fell a little bit more respected, more like talking on the same level... Of course that doesn't always prevent regimes like NK from doing stupid things, but maybe they have to show their own people who is in charge, to prevent a total collapse of the regime? -

I'm not really sure if the youtube videos are a reliable source... If I remember correctly, some of them have scenes from CoD between the "real" footage! -

I know... The E-1 I am uploading right now is a conversion of the E-4 - the MGs look like cannons... (but act as machineguns!) I have repainted my skins again (after I found a good reference for the colors): EDIT: I didn't manage to hide the cannons - does anyone know how that works? Hey cocas, if you want to include my killmarks in your 109 releases you could send me the (finished!) versions before releasing - I have a little bit experience with fiddling the right coordinates and scale... (it took me a few hours) -

I'll wait for cacas' new C (BTW: could you provide templates with them, cocas?)! Regarding the schemes - don't worry, I have pretty good reference material As far as I can judge there are three different camo types in the poland campaign: the all green one, "your" splinter one (working on it) and a blue one with splinter only on the upper side (like in the BoB, without the "dots" in the blue area)! I will release a Bf109 E-1 this week (based on Russo's/ndicki's E-4) with some skins - I think some known squads and "blank" ones (without sqadron markings) + templates... And new killmarks! (example in the screens below) The "new" model with the II./JG 3 skin: And II./ZG 1: More to come... EDIT: Is there a way to get decals to show on moving surfaces (like the rudder)? -
