  1. Classic!
  2. Gentlemen, all good points indeed! But that does not change the fact that I think he needs his azz whooped! I am still waiting on some one to tell me they were an E-3 cook in the Coast Guard.............
  3. So I guess I am confused here...... does the average opinion here is that it is OK for a guy to wear a fake uniform and wear unearned decorations and tell people of his hard work protecting them from god knows what? That is the disturbing thing about modern American society. No one has a sense of honor. Welcome to the end of our society. Those decorations are sacred items, not just some worthless trinket. To not slam the hell out of someone for wearing them with out earning them cheapens them for all citizens. I have seen people get there ass kicked physically in the Army for wearing unauthorized decorations. You must submit your DD-214 to get any type of Gov. tuition assistance VA services jobs , or whatever. Some one can't just say they were in the armed forces and get it. On a funny note......Why do people never impersonate E-3 cooks in the Coast Guard?
  4. I hate to break it to some, but the Stolen Valor Act is a LAW! Mr. Halfwayhouse violated that law. A Federal judge in his own opinion finds the law unconstitutional and threw it out. It will go to the Circuit Court and more than likely the first ruling will be over turned. This is a law, not a lifestyle.........Just sayin!
  5. Did you read the article?...... The issue is not "freedom of speech", but fraud. Plain and simple. It has been illegal to impersonate a government employee or official ( in this case Marine) for along time. The Stolen Valor Act is just focused on Walter Mitty types who are trying to gain favor, accolation, or profit from falsely displaying a decoration. Either way you skin it he is in violation. Freedom of speech does have a maximum effective range. I believe this turd exceeded it. This will get nuked in the Circuit Court. I hope that dork in his half way house gets dysentary.
  6. The best news I have heard all week.
  7. Great news! Keep your eyes peeled for more asshatery!
  8. Solution to the problem......... Join the Army! :grin:We do not take tests for promotion! Just kick azz on your PT test, shoot expert, be a stud at your promotion board, complete military education courses, and demonstrate leadership potential and bam you are an E6! Well, it is a little more complicated than that, but in my previous world if some pouge azz training dude tried to dime one of my Joe's out for something stupid like that I would go eat his heart for lunch. Random NCO's writing counseling statements on other NCO's Joes just does not float in the Army. I lived on an Air Force base for two years. I was really suprised at the differences between the two services. They have different concepts of discipline and bearing. Case in point, when I saw Airmen with their PT shirts untucked I almost lost my mind. I remember Joe's getting smoked for the wrong PT socks. My USAF MSG neighbor explained to me that they had no requirement to tuck the shirt. The Sir thing kind of bothered me also. When I was in uniform I got Sir'ed to death. Kind of made me laugh! On the other hand any old USAF dude with a plethora of stripes pointing up I just called Sergeant Major, so I guess it works both ways. The whole USAF 1SG thing is kind of confusing also but that is another story. For two services that share a common origin it is suprising how they have diverged from one another. Atleast your rank is not what job you do! Good job Navy! Hang in there tiger it won't come to anything hopefully someone will detect the Toolbagism.
  9. Not MO! The Amidineijad (sp) jacket.
  10. America should ban cheap khaki windbreakers in retaliation.
  11. Hey guys, check this out. This is a really good documentary. Good interview with Walker Mahurin and Pepayleev (sp). http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/warplanes/program.html
  12. Hip,Hip!
  13. "Exchanging glances....Wandering in the night...What were the chances........."
  14. Cool huh Muesli! Any bad azz skinners want to give it a shot? You skin it I'll fly it!
  15. Muesli, thanks bud but I have already downloaded all of those skins! Icarus we are on the right track. Check out these pics. First is an N from VF-21. Then two Be-deviler S's off Forrestal. Then an S from VF-161. That 21 skin would be a good compliment to the VF-154 skin already available.
  16. Hello guys, anyone interested in making some lo-viz F-4N and F-4S skins? I got some pics I would like to replicate. Some N's from VF-21 and S's from VF-74 and VF-161. Give me a shout if any one wants to help. I get wood when I see late model lo-viz F-4's!
  17. Pretty cool ride thanks guys! Hey, Spinners, we do need an Iranian skin (for the A model). Considering that the Iranians where the most successful users of this AC in air to air combat. Oh almost forgot, how do you operate the radar?
  18. I will play with this after finals!
  19. Could we just add a "countermeasure flare dispenser" like on Thirdwire jets, but adjust the angle to fire up to the right at a 45 degree angle? We would of course have to import the flare effects etc. also. Just a thought........
