Its like the other question I was pondering on the way to work this morning... Why is water wet and what makes water wet ??? Toooooo much time on public transport...

Greetings... This sounds like a problem with the Joystick not being able to use it's full range of motion... does the Throttle work okay with the Keyboard + and - ? If it does then the problem is with the throttle section of the Joystick.

Welcome to the Fun Dave... its not fun watching the hardwork die... -
They weren't just used for Maritime patrol... some of them would have been used over land or littoral areas... so is there for the job... but your right the camo is horrendous...

I was once fortunate to scuba dive with a blue shark in the atlantic awesome spectacle and I concur the only place for a wild animal be it on land or sea or air is in the wild doing what it does... I saw sharks next at a Sealife centre and they didn't have the awe and the majesty that they do have in the wild... poor for the girl yes but she knew the risks (I know its cold hearted but its what I believe)... This was an creature that can take down anything in the open ocean and they put it in a tank... its bound to go wrong sometimes...

It's a good photoshop fake... One of the guys here at the office ripped it apart dont ask me the technical stuff as this guy makes an Ubergeek look normal... The only knowledge I have of a plane losing its wing and successfully recovering to base was an Israeli F-15, I know of a few where they have lost parts of the wings and made it back... The aerodynamic issues there are out as well as the plane doesn't have a lifting type body and has lost the wing at the root and it also spins out the wrong way... -

Yeah it was in one of our local free papers this morning... and they just have a snapshot of the place... If I ever get time to ride across the US this is on my list of places to visit... It is a sorrowful sight though seeing all those jets with nothing to do... and that the F-14's all the guts of them shredded to stop the Iranians getting their sticky mitts on them -
Greetings... Well I play it with a Saitek Cyborg and it works fine for me... But my plan is to go down the exact road your on... Once I have my new Bike and New PC...

Might be an idea to post them on the Thirdwire forums as well as they may be able to answer the questions for you... I don't know the answers as I only have FE 1... Or some of the guys here might be taking a look to get you your answers... patience is a virtue
-
Might be a good idea to wander over to Thirdwire forum's as they might be able to help out if no-one from here can help out...

The Double D's
Slartibartfast replied to hgbn's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
Well had 1 flight yesterday a basic out and back intercept... 2 Tornado's Full weps and droptanks Plucked a pair of Mig-23's out of the sky. Made for home until we got into very very nasty fight with a pair of Mig-21's they hugged us close they where so close you could smell em... Got one with a gun and the 2nd one fought like a demon until I decoyed him away and my wingman took him out with a Skyflash... job done and nothing else about so we went home... Looks like all the rookies are done for as the fighter's are now getting very very aggressive... -

I have been using this now for a few weeks and it works very well indeed though I feel that some of the punch has gone out of the 20mm cannons on some of the Aircraft the Spits especially... I would have thought putting a few 20mm rounds into a Heinkel engine would cause a very big problem for it... Before anyone says anything I wait and I wait until the target is the only thing in the sight...
