File Name: Israeli early Super-Mystere B2 (TW WOI) File Submitter: ekek File Submitted: 28 Mar 2010 File Updated: 28 Mar 2010 File Category: French Air Force/Navy Skins This is a correct skin for WOI early Super-Mystere B2 from the begining of it's service in the Israeli Air-Force in 1958 until around 1963. I used the original TW silver skin and added the red arrow and some other details. I would replace the plain silver skin in the original game with this, because there were no plain silver SMBD's in the IAF to my knowledge. Drop it in the aircraft's folder and have fun! View File Israeli Ouragans Hi all, Here are some updates for paulopanz awesome Ouragan skins. I basically re-did the shark mouth and added some details for the No.113 Squadron (Hornet) skins. I also created early and late skins for the Ouragan No.107 Squadron (Lion's head, before the squadron became the F-4E Orange Tail Squadron). In some of the skin folders there is an "alternative" folder with some extras bits like different shark mouth designs or tails. Skins included: 107sq Early camo (1957-1967) 107sq Late camo (1967-1973) 113sq Camo shark mouth with Suez stripes (1956) 113sq Camo shark mouth without Suez stripes (Post 1956) 113sq Camo with Suez stripes (1956) 113sq Silver shark mouth with Suez stripes (1956) 113sq Silver shark mouth without Suez stripes (Pre 1956) Drop the skins into the MD-450 folder and have fun. Eyal P.S. Hope I got the right creator of the skins this time. Submitter ekek Submitted 03/26/2010 Category French Air Force/Navy Skins

ekek replied to ekek's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - File Announcements
I used the skins I got from Check6 website and I assumed it's theirs. The readme files were long gone when i worked on the new skins. I'm sorry if i mentioned the wrong creator of the skin. Again, I apologize. Eyal -

IAI Nesher skin pack

View File IAI Nesher skin pack This is a 4 skin pack for the Mirage Factory IAI Nesher in WOI. As in the Mirage CJ2, I used as a base the Check6 Mirage 3C skin and converted it to create Nesher skins. I also added an alternative tail and decal.ini file for the yellow triangle skins so you can replace it if you want. Original work by PGC. Drop it in the airplane's folder and fly away. View File F-15I Ra'am (big eagle head) Hi folks, Here is a small Addition to Sundowner's original hi-rez F-15I skin. I just added a big eagle's head to the tails and changed some decals location. Working fine on WOI. Put in the F-15I folder and fly away. Eyal Submitter ekek Submitted 02/25/2010 Category F-15 Eagle Skins

Hi, The MiG-23 that landed in Israel in 1989 was a MiG-23MLD for all I know. It did not carry any missiles. The pilot defected during a training mission and flew under the radar to Israel. It landed on a landing strip in the north of Israel that is meant to be used by light airplanes and not fighter jets. Here is a youtube link to a film from that day with some original footage: The aircraft today is in the IAF museum and carries the original Syrian markings and Israeli markings. I remember as a kid that in the 90's the IAF used to fly this plane in the yearly "IAF day" air-show and make a mock dogfight with F-15 and F-16. It was pretty awesome to see that. If you need any more info, feel free to contact me. Eyal

Multiple rocket pods for Kfirs
ekek replied to ekek's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - Mods/Skinning Discussion
OK, that worked. thanks! I had to edit the Kfir Data.ini file to separate the weapon stations though. I would still like to create a more flexible IAF multiple rocket pod by creating a TER based rack. Does anyone knows how I can create one that can carry rocket pods? The existing TER rack is for bombs only and it doesn't let me edit their entries or add RP to the list. Thanks again, Eyal -
Multiple rocket pods for Kfirs
ekek replied to ekek's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - Mods/Skinning Discussion
Still not working. If I play with that entry on the racks that are correct though, it will change the alignment of the pods on both wings (still wrong). It seems like I cant change just one station. -
Hi folks, I've been trying to get my WOI Kfir to carry multiple rocket pods on one weapon station. I use the Pucara rocket pods for it because they look similar and I actually made it work!! The problem is that although my Kfir can now carry more than one rocket pod on each station, the arrangement is a bit screwed up: As you can see in the picture, the pods on the right wind are ok, but the ones on the left wing should be on the outer side of the rack and not the inner side. How can i fix this? Thanks, Eyal

View File Egyptian MiG-17F 1956 This is my addition to the MiG-17 family. It represents Egyptian MiG-17F used during the Suez crisis and later in the 50's. The markings are the early all green Egyptian markings that were used from 1952 until 1958 with the forming of the UAR. The skin itself is the original TW skin. Drop the skin in the aircraft folder, and the decals in the decals folder and have fun. Eyal Submitter ekek Submitted 01/24/2010 Category Mig-17 Fresco Skins

View File Egyptian MiG-21F 26th squadron This is again just a decal addition to TW Egyptian MiG-21F skins to represent the planes of the 26th squadron. I have seen pictures of these planes carrying the black raven symbol in 1969 and on, so I thought it might be a nice addition to have in the game. Drop the skins in the airplane folder, and the decals in the decals folder and that's it. Have fun! Submitter ekek Submitted 01/24/2010 Category Mig-21 Fishbed Skins

View File Egyptian MiG-21MF This is a minor addition to TW original MiG-21MF skin. I just added the red eagle head decal to the skin to portray an Egyptian plane from the 70's. I really don't know how many planes carried this symbol or when, but i would like to think that it saw action at least in 1973. Just drop the skin in the airplane folder, and the decals in your decals folder and fly away. Submitter ekek Submitted 01/24/2010 Category Mig-21 Fishbed Skins
