The other sites stuff tend to be of dubious quality (flight models and skins) and getting access is similar to filing for a gun permit through the KGB. the one thing I give grudging credit for is they have several birds we dont have like Constellations. But in some areas like the Viggen, A-37 and Sea Knight that is slowly changing -

Not really any reason why not other than politics. RF-4Bs did just fine off carriers, and they begat the RF-4C, which in turn was basis for the E. Perhaps this realities S model will be more like a ARN-101, with slats and TISEO? -

man this is an old thread! an update...... am currently working on wrapping up Centurions work AS IS for release. there will be an OA-37B released first, then A-37B_76 both with the refuel probes. only other skin i am planning on working is a Dhimar and South Vietnam skins (if no one else starts the VNAF). double checking decal ini work and all else as we speak. A-37B regular without the refuel probe will be released when the above mentioned skins are done. by observation vietnam era birds did not have the probe while post nam birds did have them here is who i have so far for contributors, if im missing you or what you contributed please set me straight before release. Centurion-1: original model, template and mapping work Crusader:Cockpit, data.ini tweaks Wrench:various ini tweaks Eole: research and loading screens Flogger23: Peru and Ecuador skins Daddyairplanes:USAF skins, final wrap up, template tweaks and decal.ini setup contact me here prior to release for questions comments or screaming, will get ya into the PMs if need be. -

Ok to all concerned.......... i will be fixing a few issues pointed out with the USAF skins, and drawing up the readmes and credits. currently included are USAF skins from Vietnam to retirement. all depending there may be an FAE and FAP skin as well. the three models are the A-37B (vietnam) OA-37B (post nam usaf) and OA-37B no refuel probe (currently geared towards south american users) Needed are south vietnam skins, north vietnamese and south american users skins. If anyone is interested in doing this before end of month let me know here and i will include you in the PM. otherwise if there are no objections from the team members or last minute submissions i will get this prepped for release on memorial day. -
Information Request: Tan Son Nhut AIRPORT (not airbase)
daddyairplanes posted a topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
as you all know by now i've developed a little fetish for airliners, and want to make a Vietnam skin for the DC-8 and 707 airliners. the sticking point is getting reference material on the civil airport side of things: who flew out of there, what planes etc. only visual confirmation so far is a Pan Am 707, Braniff orange DC-8 and Air Vietnam C-46s and Caravelles. does anyone else out there have any reference material on this? non english is ok if there are clear pics shoing airline and type. thank you for any assist you all might be able to give -

Have read getting a hold of Matt has been the big problem on that. Besides hindering release, it seems to have driven most otherinterest down. BIG thank you btw for the tweaks you did so far. -
This is the last seaon, and only 6-7episodes at that. At least they will wrap the story up, rather than letting it hang like CBS did with Jericho.
