Northrop Grumman win new Bomber contract (LRSB)
daddyairplanes replied to MigBuster's topic in Military and General Aviation
of course when the last B-3 (or whatever it will be designated) goes to the Boneyard, the crew will fly home on a BUFF good to hear the big three will be around though. i dont think the next gen trainer would have been enough to sustain Northrup Grumman. -

Enough with these squadrons already
daddyairplanes replied to LegitPilot's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
Handful of pennies from me.... I didnt like how that happens either. Download Gimp (its free), watch youtube and ask questions here. Go forth and make your own. Complaint without solution that you are willing to participate in (more than consumption of end product) is whining. Its never aporeciated, and unless you're paying for something generally not tolerated This is our hobby. Since we are not paid, we do what we want to in the manner and timeframe that we can/want to. Payments have been discussed in other threads, but big consensus is payment makes it work and tajes tge fun out of it fir the modders If you can access the internet, and play SF2, that computer is capable of making skins and tgas (decals) Again, I didnt like squadron on skin either. I went and learned. Probably irrated many old heads round here asking questions but I put in the effort to be able to do it myself. Now I do airliners with many airlines to one skin. I wont take requests, other than to show how I did it. Finally, try modding. You may get to the point where you have to remind yourself on occasson that you can fly in this game as well. Edit: no cookie fir me Erik. Still workin on morning coffee -

At first i thought you were talking bout the "nobody will talk to us" ad on top. -
cool pics. now that you know the crowdedness that is a C-130, wait til you fly on a -17. LOTS more space, no matter what configuration ( even with 2 MRAPs on board!) not to mention no guy in front of you jammed into your front!

daddyairplanes replied to whiteknight06604's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - Mods & Skinning Discussion
If its an older and esp a non US system, i thought the gunner moved with the gun any how. In that case just need a proper seat for him -
You used to get warned when you were being disagreable. If your warning points went too high.....goodbye. hasn't been used in several years, but i remember a few folks getting warned then getting booted

Serbian A-A kills in Balkan campaigns?
daddyairplanes replied to Stratos's topic in Military and General Aviation
The two aircraft lost during Allied Force were an F-16C and of course the F-117. While the fighters didn't play a big part in the air war, the SAM force never was completely neutralized and actually played thrir cards well given the circumstances http://usatoday30.usatoday.com/news/world/2005-10-26-serb-stealth_x.htm -

for everyone talking red airlines, i have a specific period i like to mod (around 1970-late 1990s), and prefer aircraft with many users. I also am more interested in the European arena than others but not adverse to adding other areas airlines. i will get to them, but since im the main one doing airliner work right now i'll get to it at my pace. also as a hint to the 3d guys out there the primary jet airliner in the Warsaw Pact countries was the Tu134/154. trijets just like the B727. just saying guys anyhow back to our current playlist: I hear the drums echoing tonight But she hears only whispers of some quiet conversation She's coming in, 12:30 flight The moonlit wings reflect the stars that guide me towards salvation I stopped an old man along the way Hoping to find some old forgotten words or ancient melodies He turned to me as if to say, "Hurry boy, it's waiting there for you" -

how big is the lod in the Typhoon files? i get the same problem with yakarovs H-53, but think its due to lots of polys. it is a 13mb lod while most seem to be under 1mb, and the H-3 is 4 mb. -
