12th AF badge in the 1980s
daddyairplanes posted a topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
there's several pics of birds in the 80s with the 12AF on the tail, but no pics of the 12 AF badge on intakes or noses something like this and yes i know the badge is this as of google search today im trying to confirm it wasnt different in the early to mid 80s, or that they didnt say just use the triangle protion of the badge. but 5 books, 9 magazines and a dozen hours online and i cant find a pic of the 12th AF logo on an intake any ideas or better still photos? quality doesnt need to be good so long as i can confirm what i got -

Strike fighters 2 games required
daddyairplanes replied to DEVIL11's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - Mods & Skinning Discussion
are you saying that the mod says you dont have those versions? unless thats the case, its just like any other big mod on here. it needs a few of the specific versions for lods and other parts (Israel comes to mind) and it needs its own clean exe because of all thats in it -

sorry, my mix up. realized it after you posted the list i personally would have liked SNEBs visually, but American pods were much more realistic for a Ukraine volunteer force in the mod. -

a twin LAU-32 is available in teh International Volunteer Group release. but the boss man still has to release the package (including twin Matras) for the regular Alpha Jet (including updated data and loadout inis) -

I had a dream when I was young, A dream of sweet illusion A glimpse of hope and unity, And visions of one sweet union But a cold wind blows and a dark rain falls And in my heart, it shows, Look what they've done to my dream, yeah! -
there was, but until the mid 60s with the F-86H it was generally temporary and experimental. this is a warbird Sabre, but its markings are pretty accurate to the 461sst (or possibly 527th?) Fighter Day Squadron in the early to mid 1950s. i have a photo in the book Before Centuries (USAFE in the 40's and 50s) that matches but photo its an F model (not Canadair) and much blurrier The H's first gained camo not as aggressors but because of the move to camoflaging all tactical aircraft from 1965 onward. EDIT: Svetlin's post popped while i was typing. but i will say the Piccaini aircraft site is a nice find for more than just this topic. Thank you sir

making it a modded aircraft unless the aircraft folder only has an aircraft.ini that points to stock files in the DLLs. once you add a cockpit, a diferent ini than what TK wrote or a different skin, its now a modded aircraft. thats why all the focus on stock: as in original, the way it was when you first fired up the game without adding anything to it. -

gen 2 ready full aircraft https://combatace.com/files/category/646-other/?page=2 theres more in the 1st gen section but those need additional work to make fully workable in Gen 2 i did forget to mention cockpits, although that still takes it out of being stock and being a modded aircraft -

daddyairplanes replied to combatace444's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
i know the Beagle's doors open (seen it in screenshots) not sure about the Badger, plus most types in game are missile carriers or recce so they may not regardless but all of the above are stock birds, unless you downloaded one of the mods to make them flyable if you did the generic cockpit trick (pointing to an A-4B cockpit in the bombers aircraft ini) then they might not work. it takes abit of work to make a non flyable stock aircraft work in game -

toto je velmi dobrá odpověď, nicméně na hlavních fórech je preferováno používat angličtinu. Google má funkci překládat z libovolného jazyka do angličtiny, poté zkopírovat a vložit. jak jsem napsal tuto zprávu -------------------- this is a very good reply, however in the main forums its preferred to use English. Google has a feature to translate from any language to English, then copy and paste. its how i made this message -

i was debating F-4E gunpods with someone the other day, and i was trying to point out that a twin GPU-5/A installation had been tested, at least on the ground which got me to thinking about Chico the Gunfighter from Vietnam but lets have Ah-nold play the title role 'remem-bah when i said these are air to ground?" "i lied"
