  1. i use gimp to convert images to tga. the file you uploaded didnt have the insignia in it but i have a file from gen one section with all us insignias 1943-2000. every thing else looked fine http://combatace.com/files/file/10505-us-insignia-1943-to-present/ doesnt fix that exact problem but if its only the nat insignia givin a headache this should help.
  2. what was the original source? i have a similar prob from using images from a decal sheet right now(tho only in parts that i color to alpha layer in Gimp)
  3. number 1 ... Dave in your screenshots of Hueys from a few weeks ago (in the SF2 Screenshot thread) how do you get the rotors to rotate normally? I am using the B and D from the SF2V air and ground expansion v2, and both rotors will spin normal, then go visible with no rotation and back and forth. question 2 for the whole community reason i am playing with Huey's is another deployment project USAEUR UH-1 units in about the 70's-80s timeframe. when you do an image search tho most pics are of Vietnam Hueys!(yea yea i know wonder why) i would appreciate any resources anyone can point me out to aside from the usual wikipedia(useful but does take alot of hunting) TIA!

from the civil war came the birth of the modern US military way of war. yes it was clumsy and could have been handled better. but we were experimenting with many new technologies and concepts tied together for the first time. yes ballons, telegraph, rail and battlefield medicine might've been used by european armies singularly before the civil war, but when can you observe it all being used together and succesfully? not to say that european armies are outdated or not as good as the american military. but we have a tendency to innovate or drastically improve on innovations that are out there.
  15. as always it rocks Dave and TMF team. i sense a lot of other skins coming from skinners and decallers out there!

  19. like most russian equipment i've ever seen.... damn rough but it works
  20. damn only the folks who train what.... every Viper pilot in the world! and as for the air to mud 102... the AF experimented with using the IR tracker on ground targets and using the SUU-11 and rockets in the doors to engage ground targets. one was lost A2A going up north and it wasnt exactly getting utilized guarding the souths airspace from communist bombers....
  21. cool AAR Storm but the Cubs at KAF are chopped in a field to the side. the IL-76s though, while looking derelict do take off!
