  1. an American Foxbat Spinners? really? did the soviets then develop the Mig 25 Eagle to counter
  2. What are you listening to?

    metallica sanatarium
  3. fer starters you would need a different LOD for a two seat raptor tho i think there might be one on the Gen 1 downloads section. not just a ini edit. as the Raptor stands right now you put in on not get in it. no room for second seat. finally the F-23 would have been way better for the NATF winner but oh well.
  4. Hey Wrench what is the SF2Sqmd folder listed in your mods folder?
  5. Wish List 1-2-3

back to the wish list bit.......... 1 more skins for the ARN101 Phantoms( maybe some Seymour Johnson , maybe some TuAF) 2 definitely Block 40 and higher Vipers 3 C-54. be nice for Operation Vittles to turn to Hot Chow!
  6. A Huge Thank You

this was the first site i have gone to for simming support. i originally came for the downloads but stayed for the good times. it's also amazing to talk to folks all over the worldothers sites i have looked at just dont measure up except for a very few downloads. thanks to all who mod, chat and other wise brighten my day on here.
  7. I am typing this....

    congrats and have fun!
  8. i have SF2V and E currently. wasnt too interested in SF2I but with the expansion pack released i am now wondering ........ using the extractor and cat files could i take aircraft from SF2I and import them to SF2E? i have done this with the F-4J from SF2V and loaded it into Europe with a No 74 SQN skin successfully. but i would really like some meteor F8's in my 1950s era install. as always any help is appreciated.
  9. F-4 Rivet Haste

SP tail code is the 52d TFW out of Spangdahlem AB germany. the ARNie skin has that tail code as a part of the skin. i tried some time ago to take the generic Hill 2 scheme in the download section and apply it but it came out lookin to funky with the working slime lights and such. not sayinit cant be done just above my current talent and patience interesting side note have a pic of 1 Illinois ANG Phantom coded SP it should have been soded SI for Springfeild! it was a paint shop error.
  10. thanks wrench. just needed to know if the newer would work goin into older. now this b-day/ christmas will likely be SF2I and expansion pack rather than original SF2. as the sayin goes i'll have it in two weeks. appreciate the help guys.
  11. F-4 Rivet Haste

eBurger and mppd ok i stand corrected. my apologies as i should have checked USAF Phantoms and Spirit in the Skies. rather than being lazy and goin to wikipedia
  12. true though E-5 + 4 dependents = waiting on all of it for two weeks! sriously though untl the exansion pack released i was planning on leaving Isreal alone. maybe its the german background, maybe it was watching too many fast jets in the field in Grafenwhoer and Hohenfels but i am more into Europe than the others. I bought SF2V for christmas mainly for carriers and naval Phantoms though it is fun to fly the Scooter now and again. however i really want the Meteor F8, and think i could manage a cockpit in the AI birds esp the C-47. Now if only TK or anyone else would release a C-54....
  13. Happy Birthday Amokflo!

    happy birthday!
  14. F-4 Rivet Haste

actually i believe that Rivet Haste was a program to rewire F-4Ds in vietnam from the AIM-4 to the AIM-9 after Falcons proved unreliable again. if your flying SF2 series any F-4D flown after 1968 shiykd be kosher for Rivet Haste. 67-68 might wanna laod Falcons if you want to be historically accurate
  15. Jesus hit by a car

hmmmm need him to come raise my lesabre from the dead........................................
  16. Hard as Nails recruits

i watched this in a mcdonalds while drinking coffee. i then proceeded to laugh so hard i spilled coffee all over myself. since i cannot sue mcdonalds anymore(damn warning labels) i am afraid i will have to sue UK Widowmaker. j/k so stupid its funny UK
  17. recce Phantoms carried ecm on underwing points due to not having missle bays. to my knowledge the inner wing stations could carry ecm though they didnt often do so. also if a jammer was carried under wing as opposed to in sparrow bays only only one was carried though you would hafta edit the data ini to allow asymetrical loadouts. it shouldnt be hard, you just hafta edit the numbers and groups. or you could delete ECM from one side or the other and it would show in the loadout as one loaded
  18. Happy Birthday Column5 and Crab_02

    happy bday guys
  19. as a child of the 80's (red dawn, top gun, superpower summits etc) i go with SF2E. there is so much possiblities from berlin airlift gone hot to the gaurds firing when the wall came down. Thunderbolts to Hogs all in one game!

  23. Vista Ultimate Problems

i don't have vista ultimate but on my vista machine i go in the control panel programs block. there is a link for using programs for older versions of windows. i go thru the steps to install and it takes about 10-20 mins to realize the disc is there. after that its straight forward like loading on XP. but i have home premium on a compaq laptop. so not garunteeing those results for you.
  24. P-40 Go Boom
