Help with ThirdWire sims and adding mods
daddyairplanes replied to DEVIL11's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
delete it from your system and reinstall the basic game all over again. then take your time and load each item into game. i believe you will need the latest version Direct X and will need to go to Thirdwire's site to get a specific patch. if you go to get NATO Fighters from Column 5's site it will even have the links to the sites you need to goto in the instructions. as always READ THE READMES! take your time follow instrcutions and you should be alright. also for further advise what system are you runnin? vista, xp, or windows 7? can be part of the issue there as well. -
might be as funny as a German with a forklift on his mandated hour lunch:rofl: and were yuo gonna share a link with us there skyviper? or be a greedy marine and keep em all to yourself:lol:

now that wikileaks has released details of the classified mission:grin: , a few questions. are any of the starfighters piloted by a CPT Kahn? is NCC-1701 AI only? or is it more like an aircraft carrier for shuttle craft? what would weapons effects look like for a photon torpedo attack on an east german airbase? and finally ...................... could ya imagine how quick the war in viet nam would be over if they send that baby against the paul doumer bridge? ah my smart a$$ self in the morning. wonder how many ideas this spawns. -
congrats to Storm and good luck sheila!

was still in kandahar at the time and the battalion my company was attached to was from hood. hope when they find him guilty he gets life to sit in his crippled body and wonder if that was what allah really wanted. death is probably what his warped mind wants so unless its drowning in bacon grease dont give him the satisfaction. $%^ing traitor. to those that perished on that day

Duh, what version do I have?
daddyairplanes replied to Spad13's topic in Thirdwire - First Eagles 1&2
um maybe first eagles expansion pack one? seriously tho most of the gen 2 titles state they are gen 2 (strike fighters 2, strike fighters 2 europe etc) therefore i would actually guess that is gen 1. anyone who has FE2 feel free to correct me if i am wrong -

ok so last thursday was my last day on active duty. i had my appointment to get my transitional id card on monday right? how about friday afternoon i get a call from my former section and platoon sgt saying i need to come in to sign my final NCOER for the 4th time. i explain to them that i had been out for about 16 hours at the time of the call, my CAC card is now expired and would not work to digitally sign anything anyhow and i need to go and get my new card. i also explain that i am not sure if it will be a CAC card or the one similar to what dependents get(wich it was). finally i tell them that i am in my new house 60 minutes away from base and will not be coming in that day to sign. saturday i talk to my commander, whose daughter is on the same little league soccer team as mine and point out might not get a CAC. he says hey it is what it is. finally sunday night i get a call from my section chief saying i need to come in before the appt on monday and use the CAC card to sign before i turn it in. nevermind the fact that i was invalid since 0001 friday morning! god how i love the leadership in some places! btw i have offered since im stayin in the area to come in and sign it with ink pen when it s convient for me!

The Mobile Kitchen Trailer, more commonly known as the MKT. towable by duece and a half, 5 ton truck or LMTV. closes up for travel opens up for some hot goodness on cold German winters. would need to find more pics and can scan a TM for the 3 views. think it would be a cool addition to ground forces or on the highway bases! ok so this one in pic aint the original. most of the pics i can find online are TINY and all my pics of mine i've worked on are packed during this move. but ya get the idea -

@serverandenforcer the hooters will work for all airbases in an north american setting esp if one comes out with a north carolina terrain featuring pope, seymour johnson and cherry point! @ wrench sounds good for when its rigged to road travel. however it expands when on site and set up to feed. would need an area 30ft x 30ft x12ft high to sit on. Not that i would know:rofl: i was thinkin more the set up version so that you could have a line of infantry guys lined up for chow at the highway bases in europe. hey it would be neat eye candy!
