  1. unless theres 4 empty bottles im disappointed i thought as a ex serviceman you'd be a right proper drunkard happy new years
  2. of course the earlier batch is being the usual problematic ........ by comparison the Mud Hens were soo soo easy to serial hunt and verify.......
  3. 30 Dec 1983: The last flight of the F-104H "Zipper" in Active USAF service takes place as the F-15A replaces it in service with the 318th Fighter Interceptor Squadron. The Zipper would continue on in service with several Air National Guard squadrons until near the end of the 1980s. (big thanks to Spinners, for making the "ADC" Starfighter come to life)
  4. Allen wins it a Fighter Wing campaign would be nice too but....... Ron, yes they flew Vipers too. Block 52s and a Weasel role from mid 94 until 2006 (or 07?) when the 389th went to Mud Hens from late 1992 until summer of 94, they had a light attack role, and any SEAD was either gonna be Maverick, CBU or pre loaded HARMs (set against specific freqs not able to pick targets like F-4G or Block 50/52)
  5. Joe Baugher passed away

caught this in my FB feed this afternoon. sad news given while i doubt anyone here knew him personally, im sure many of us use his site regularly https://www.facebook.com/groups/25487412851/?hoisted_section_header_type=recently_seen&multi_permalinks=10160200886817852 1941-2023
  6. ^^^^^^^this part ^^^^^ you said "how much do i owe you". i gave a sarcastic comment in reply in this case (conversation between you and me) it was never about the money. my point has just been to give the credit where its due. "bazillus made this, daddyairplanes made that, and heres how their old work got improved" its decent manners, and its basically a condition of use of nearly all the mods (that if you change something and release you will say who made the original and what you changed) no, no one can afford to send a lawyer after someone that violates those terms. so instead, we post about it on here. whether its viewed "crying about a plastic spoon" or "letting everyone know about a page on Facebook", that perception is on each individual member
  7. ok now i think youre just screwin with me besides, the fine folks in Alcoholics Anonymus (down the street from me on Smoke Bomb Hill) liked their company.
  8. very generous of him. most people at least want to be recognized for what they did nah, a link to the video you made with footage of one of my skins; and mention of who made it in the next video is actually enough. my shits been tight last couple months too. this month i got 3 pennies to spend
  9. although note that i offered an alternate price regardless of what i set it in as cash money
  10. your choice. although i thought i was saying the equivient of 1/3 of a penny. my misunderstanding of Ukrainian money in a sarcastic comment
  11. yeah i know you got it rougher than 99% of the community at the moment. part of why the argument suprises me abit there are some that have a big issue with this. not the biggest problem in the world, but it is a major problem in their world having had a skin and the model done like that with credit to neither, i understand their point of view i do fail to see why its hard to simply put a sentence in somewhere saying "this person did this part of the project you see"
  12. lets say 0.33 kopiika per view on any video featuring one of my skins. seems the going rate for a newly monetized account or better still, just give credit for the parts that arent yours. which is one of the biggest gripes, and biggest terms of use in the readmes
  13. if thats the case then go for it if it has your work and was uncredited, by all means insist on that due credit. if you dont want your work included (because of non credit or disagreement) request ot have it pulled. contact the offending modder first, then Erik if they dont agree. but most around here (CA) will adjust if they find that parts were miscredited or used w/o permission not sure if its a translation thing, a economic thing or personal thing but you still confuse "free" with "no money". the point here has been that the mods are provided for no money to the end user. terms of use are the cost to the end user. terms that get set because of of time the modder spent. anything that has exchanged hands in all of humanity has had some cost attached to it if it was done legally (ie not stolen). it might be a very small and seemingly negligible cost but its still there
  14. Misawa had 52's? legit question, i thought they got 50s when they became the 35th FW..... really you need to try harder Kojak . think about the multi jet type/big jet posts of the last couple months. one wing keeps popping up across 4 airframes now (soon to be 5) all the other units have been side quests of this main one
  15. di you buy the plastic scoop and bucket at the store, or put time and material in to make it yourself? did he use the spoon and bucket for his personal use, or is he giving it out to others? if he's giving it out to others does he at least say you gave it to hi, or claim that the plastic items were always his? those readmes that are in almost every mod arent random words for the hell of it, they are poor man EULAs. slightly less binding than what you also dont read from EA or Blizzard; slightly less because our legal teams are much smaller than the corporations. but the terms are pretty generous really, especially for no money. every mod i've ever seen says at a minimum This package and any part of it may NOT in any way, shape, or form be used in any payware additions. and The names of all contributors, modders, suppliers, etc =MUST= be listed simply put, dont make your own money off my work and if you use it for anything, give me due credit for creating the base of what your using. and yes even making videos can be making money, if they were to become popular enough to be monetized or whatever adding commercials to a video is called these days. which is why alot of people create videos; seeing the tik tok stars and hoping to make money off it too
  16. not next but in the pipeline A/B models are in the pipeline i had to double check, i did these already
  17. done with Mud Hens four more aircraft types until these two wings are done (not counting two seaters). guess which one is next (bonus points if you guess the block)
  18. 90th FS, 3rd Wing on its only deployment of the 1990s
  19. for Revamp, its more possession of stolen goods than active theft. but he does much that the older YAP crew didnt (and doesnt do things that they did do). the taint his project may have frankly comes from the YAP name.... excuse me sir, im both reputable and broke i use GIMP
  20. another one of those ground crew snapshots
  21. YAP Revamp isnt American led, the head honcho on that is italian iirc. and Revamp does try to abide by the legal and group common rules. i know of a few parts that were taken out when others objected, even though they were in the original YAP releases iirc. he also works to give credit where its due, although there is so much that he has a hard time keeping track disclaimer: im not majorly active over there, but have assisted in some ways. mostly in cleaning up files to reduce the install size.
  22. Quick Draw '93 Gunfighter 1, Tiger 1 and Thunderbird 1
  23. im loving the Zipper skins, but have to ask are they bare metal all over, or light coat ADC gray over all but the engine section (which would have burnt off and they would have known how it looked from the Huns)? maybe my eyes are just screwy from looking at a whole bunch of Eagle shades of grey.....
  24. thats a mighter big Gunfighter hoss.....
