43rd AW, Pope AFB 2000
daddyairplanes replied to daddyairplanes's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - File Announcements
just uploaded a fix, i named a new aircraft folder instead of copy and pasting like usual. if you downloaded between July 8 2023 and july 11 2023, (one of the first 25) open the C-130E (SKE) folder, cut the contents, and paste into your C-130E_SKE folder. the decal folder is just fine my apologies for the mess up NOTE: this would not be the cause of any Microsoft Defender issues as one user has noted. -

yeah well that gun looks F CKING HUGE when its pointing at you! (for those that are wondering, i had to run out to a field site on Bragg on fine day in my personal car. lets say the crew wasnt expecting a 99 Buick LeSabre out where they were flying, and that chain gun tends to follow the motion of the nose gunners head!) -

if you downloaded since july 2013, it will automatically be patched to JUL2013 if you have most everything else, and were to get something new (say one DLC aircraft), it would patch your install to JUL2013 therefore if you downloaded from TW site, you will already be patched and up to date SF1 is a totally different creature and SF2 updates have no power there Eric, i think they mean SF Israel, forgetting the 2 nvrmnd, reread the post -

maybe a little lighter still, but it wouldnt be pure white imo. notice IRL the fuselage actually makes the radome look dark agreed that indiv reflection for indiv textures would be nice, although maybe go a little shinier (again, just my 2 cents) also the vertical tail seems to have tiles (almost like roof shingles really) on the outside on the RL pic. unless its reflecting the wing..... -

yeah, i have the USAF F-4 skins DLC and the F-4N the N was a case of actual interest in the model over what we had in house. the skinset was to support TK at the time (even though Sundowner had a damn good set of templates at the time) none of hte rest ever piqued my interest, or seemed better than what we had in house here. so i didnt go the "complete route" aside from the DLCs, i dont believe it has anything im missing -

yeah its one of those things. books and official pubs dont list Walleye as an AF weapon Wiki and things like Hasegawa model instructions say that it was. although most typically for the aircarft that both services used so...... edit well heres the USAF Museum weighing in https://www.nationalmuseum.af.mil/Visit/Museum-Exhibits/Fact-Sheets/Display/Article/195663/martin-marietta-agm-62-walleye-i/
