suggestion outside of your current issue break up your collection. you can have different themed installs based on .... whatever the end of the world with a "Final Countdown" time loop wouldnt bring that managerie of aircraft in one place at one time. plus the less per collection the less issues. not saying lose any aircraft, just saying maybe have a collection of 5 sets rather than one huge set -

SENTRY: Aircraft of the NATO E-3A Component Since 1983, NATO has operated international squadrons of E-3A Sentrys, commonly referred to as AWACS from Geilenkirchen AB. Registered in Luxembourg due to international law, the NATO AEW&C Force held watch during the final decade of the Cold War, participated in operations over the Balkans and Libya, and assisted with US homeland defense after the attacks on 9/11/01. During the late 1990s, the NATO Sentry fleet gained upgrades in line with the USAF's Block 30/35 upgrades. These included distinctive fairings on the aircraft chin, cheek and tail housing ESM equipment. The aircraft retained their original E-3A designations after the upgrades. For several years, retired 707 airliners were also operated as trainers to reduce E-3 flying hours and as transports to support NAEWF missions as well as other NATO missions when available. These aircraft were designated CT-49A and operated unti the mid 2010s. Included This mod includes skin for the E-3A, an E-3A_98 aircraft with fake pilot upgrades and CT-49A trainer aircraft, as well as decals and a set of ESM pods for the newer E-3A Installation unzip mod, add contents of "2 Mod Folder" to mod folder of your choice. allow overwrites Known Issues - The Sentry aircraft pull hard to port (left) when taking off. This only occurs when the player is hand flying the aircraft, when AI or autopilot flies this is not an issue - The cockpit is not a great match for the aircraft, however SF2 does not support any of their (E-3 or CT-49) original missions as player flyable and they were originally intended to be eye candy. Until we get a 3d modeller that wants to do a new E-3 or even 707 proper pit, this is how it will be. Credits BPAO 707 model The Mirage Factory original E-3 mod and model yakarov79 NATO_AWACS pod model Dave putting the bug in my ear to do more than just one squadron of new Sentry work daddyairplanes skins, tga work, research I hope you enjoy this mod as much as i have enjoyed creating it, and thank you for downloading it. yup, circa '04-06 the guy that was silent in the last beta test thread of ours put the bug in my ear to do it. or specifically, i started looking at the ESSM pods (a fake pilot add on), then fiexed them, then looked at pics from 2003-2007...... you get the picture The NATO ones were actually much simpler to do, as they dont differentiate tween the 3 squadrons. just 1 NAEWF. and i did the research on that years ago. but since i had the decal slots open, i put in a data plate with serial num and model (B or C) right now im just waitin on a couple answers from said guy to complete. all the tgas are already made, whole wing skin done, and squadron skins are just a matter of copy and ini edit. -

SENTRY : Aircraft of the NATO E-3A Component
daddyairplanes commented on daddyairplanes's file in Other
i dont recall any trim functions in SF2, aircraft specific or game overall that said, it does takeoff properly in Autopilot and the AI FMs are one of the dark arts of this hobby, with the simple fixes being insanely simple and the harder ones requiring a team up of Merlin and Gandalf to fix. since no one has offered a fix (as in data.ini lines to adjust) in 9 years and since not to many fly it operationally (there is no player flyable operational mission ) i have admittedly not worked to fix it opting instead to warn the end user of the quirk -
