Well, being a MMO doesn't necessarly means it has no SP or AI like the good old times. It could have the "PVE" style missions that could be done in solo or coop to follow a storyline, in addition to the PVP

Yes the power of the internet is incredible. The guy almost only did blockbuster games out of not much, much in advance for the era, wing commander, starlancer, freelancer, he proved everytime he knows his stuff so when he asked funding help by PC players who are considered by many producers as a "secondary" market, he gets one freaking million dollar in player donations in not even a week. And more money coming every second. If you go on his page and refresh every 20 seconds you will see everytime more money being added to the pool. Amazing.
