  1. . Olham, I gave your TIR fighter profile a go last night and it worked very well for me. Nice and quick, with minimal head movement on my part. Took only a minute or two to get used to the initial "twitchy" feel of it, and I believe that I prefer it to my usual profile in a dogfight. Hopped into my trusty Camel and had numerous go-rounds with DR1's, Flying Razors, DVII's and the like, and found it easier to keep track of everyone in a furball. It's a keeper! .
  2. . You are very welcome Ratatat, and I hope you enjoy the new trinkets. Thank you too for the kind words regarding my other efforts. I do need to get back to Blum's adventures, and hopefully I will have time to fly a few missions soon. .
  3. . Olham, Dej, and Lou at Belgium bierstube in Chimay: We blended in almost perfectly with another group of German and Turkish offiers who were visiting the establishment at the same time. Olham of course is acting as our superior officer here, due to his command of the language. We got Dej to dirty up quite nicely. And I shaved just for the occasion. Can you pick us out? I dare say you couldn't as long as Dej and I kept our mouths full of beer and didn't speak.. Prost! .
  4. . Send your dear Mum all our best wishes for a speedy recovery. Safe travels Olham. Take care my friend. .
  5. . Now that is neat MM, and I've already saved it to my digital art collection. Thanks for sharing Sir. Cheers! Lou .
  6. . SWEET! Details man, I want details! .
  7. . I should think a large hammer would lower the windshield quite well, Olham. And I've used the gun slide on that kite from time to time to emulate the loading process in combat. Very neat. I just wish we could actually reload the guns in the sim. .
  8. . And so I repeat: Does this allow you to run OFF directly from your HD without having to always use the CFS3 disc to launch?! Please say yes...please. . . Oh wait! I know! This allows you to take OFF with you wherever you go and run it on any computer set up for flying! .
  9. . Does this allow you to run OFF directly from your HD without having to always use the CFS3 disc to launch?! Please say yes...please. .
  10. . ACK! What treachery is this? Shot in the haversack whilest pedaling happily away. Poor Olham. .
  11. . It's the 'MD' I'm wondering about more than anything. Mediterranean Air War add-on perhaps? .
  12. . Looks like a VirtualDub redirect command for your updated 3.1a CFS3 install with TIR5, telling it to divert to your FRAPS for recording purposes. But that's only a somewhat educated guess on my part. .
  13. . I actually do like Creaghorn's mod, but I'll try anything once, (twice if I'm not too tired). I'll give your mod a go this evening when I get home, Elephant. Thanks for sharing Sir. Cheers! Lou .
  14. . That's neat, Lewie! I have a '59 Vespa 150 in my barn. Fun little scooters, they are. .
  15. . Sordid cranium, i.e., dirty mind, less-than-pure thoughts, considering ignoble actions and motives, squalid ponderings, etc, etc. (Hmmm...everyone seems to have left the room again, I wonder why that keeps happening?) .
  16. . You are more than welcome, John. I hope you will enjoy the medals and the books Sir, and for a good long time. .
  17. . I turned that phrase for just such imagining, Creaghorn. Was wonder who might swing at it. .
  18. . hee, hee...right you are Olham. Thought I better change it as Gehtzumbräu would raise less suspicion at the guard crossing. .
  19. . Lewie, I've been accused of being many things over the years, but short-winded is not on the list. Allow me to elaborate, if I may, by giving a brief overview of the aforementioned list... (Lou drones on incessantly as, unnoticed by him, his audience hastily leaves the room.) .
  20. . You see Lewie, now that right there is the difference. I only have two-wheeled mechanical brakes set up on the front, so I have to handle downhills with au pair, (but she's so cute you really don't notice you're careening out of control). As to Belgium beer, well that is hardly French now is it? Great Belgian beer, by all means. And yes Herr Olham, I am willing to chance the lines for such. Oberleutnant Otto Gehtzumbräu, ready and waiting! .
  21. . Alright Olham, where are we going for this decent French beer you eluded to over in the thread about the sim whose name must never be uttered? (STONE HIM!) Didn't know there was such a thing. Decent French wine, yes. Decent French cognac, absolutely. But decent French beer? .
  22. . hee, hee...Olham, back in the day the people who told me how much more fun I was when I drank were the same ones I was spotting to free rounds. Of course, I was so much more fun then that I didn't tend to notice the connection. .
  23. . Elephant, I'm sorry...what...I ah...I don't...quite...understand Sir. I am very glad to know I didn't step on any toes, Elephant. So then, drinks it is, name your poison. Slarti...HEE HAW! Kind of you to say VP. And oh how I feel your pain some days, Sir. A really fine cigar and two fingers of Tullamore Dew with a nice red ale to follow. Man! .
  24. . Pawgy, just follow the instructions on the link that Voyd has provided you. And welcome both of you to the OFF fourms and the virtual skies. New lads buy the drinks! Cheers! Lou .
