lol..glad you liked it.. on the zep mission,,for sure,,would love to play it,,,but,,,do the n17's attack (consistantly i mean)... i could not for the life of me get the allied ai to attack the zeps....they would shoot as they passed by the first time,,,but then just fly around the zepps,,and not engage..,,,most of the time out of gun range. -

cant give specs to support this,,but its my understanding off does not support crossfire (ie,,,no performance gains) -
hmm,,,good question.... going to assume your talking about just networking 2 computers....no router..... this tells the different cables you have to have depending on if you have a hub or not http://sawaal.ibibo.com/computers-and-technology/what-difference-between-patch-cable-crossover-cable-409909.html i suppose,,,as long as you know the internal ip of the host,,,the other computer would be able to join. not sure what is going to happen if both computers have the same internal ip in any case,,,let us know!

Its exacly the same way as you would do for 2 computers 1000 miles apart...the only differnce is that if you have a lan,,,the person joining can join the host by entering either the internal ip of the host (192.168.x.x), or if both compters are connected online, they can join by entering the external ip of the host. But the host does nothing different from what is done for normal mp sessions,,,,,ie,,there is no procedure for a lan session,,and a different proceedure for a internet session... there is a tuturial in the sticky section of the mp forum...should get you all you need to know (and them some) but fyi,,,,if you can get both computers online,,,and have the other computer join thru the internet connection rather than the lan connection, you may find the game play better. I did exactly what you are suggesting at home, ( set up a lan game) and i could not belive the amont of "jittering" on the aircraft. I dont belive the jittering is purely lag. Generally when you have lag,,the plane will freeze for a split second,,then quickly appear at another point....jittering is something else,,,,

ATI cards performance in Win XP

you didnt mention what card you had. Ive got the 4870/xp64, and i found that the drivers that came with the card (sorry,,forget what version ) worked way better than the latest release. Cant say for sure..but there is some logic that would suggest the latest drivers are geared to the latest games. Off is still a directX8 game, so who knows..could just be the latest drivers are detrimental in off... -

lol..acutally,,i have started one...only problem is,,,it almost seems that the enemy ai aircraft dont recognize them as "targets" per say,,,, They attack on the first pass,,but then just sorta fly around,,and dont seem to want to engage anymore... but next time there are 7 ppl on at once,,,will put it up to fly. -

We have succeded in destroying almost all the heavy bridges, and slowed the enemy advance, but at a very heavy cost, but there is one more bridge large enough for the enemy to move equipment necessary for it to substain an offense. Amongst heavy debate, HeadQuarters has decided to take a gamble, and attempt an attack at this last bridge. Resouces are slim, but considering the stratigic importance of this target, we have pooled an impressive force. The bridge MUST be destroyed. Escort the bombers, and DO NOT leave them unattended Notes: The Bristols are considered "props" in this mission. They are there to give you something to Escort, and do have the function of bombing the bridge. I could not find a way to slow them down in mission builder, so to get them to fly in a manner that the escort fighters did not fall far behind, I gave the bombers "zig-zag" waypoints. The Bombers with an "*" next to them when you are selecting your planes in the mission are flyable, if you want to selct a bomber. To keep the size of the mission down, none of the axis planes are flyable. All of the Se5a's have cockpits, and are flyable. -

The ip list is available in the tuturial in the sticky section. Will modify wwi initilialising screen to include list of current pilots ips. Great for new pilots who dont have everyones ip yet.
