Hey Skinners...ever noticed?
Olham replied to UK_Widowmaker's topic in WOFF UE/PE - General Discussion
Yes, I knew. On my field, even most of the parked planes wear my "White Eagle" skin. Very comforting. -
Red Dog, you can and should write ALL your wingmen/flight members in there - that grows your chances, and it works. Very important: you must bring them wingmen back home alive. If they die on the way, you won't have anyone to witness.

Yes - switch the TAC ("radar") to "aircraft". Then you 'only' have to switch through them. I think it's done by pressing "T", you can switch through all the possible kinds of target. For ground attacks you must change again. Press "esc", and then choose "controls" - there you find all the things you like. You can "add assignments" there, and so put some important orders on buttons of your stick. I recommend to you, to read UncleAl's "Tips and cheats" sticky thread. This and so much more is in there.

This was a really eventful flight. On our patrol, I spotted those Brisfits, heading towards us. Although SPADs come out to my ears by now, I didn't want to engage them. To our right, up in the sun and almost invisible, there were 5 or 6 Fokker Dr.1, flying my direction. As the Bristols seemed to target me, I lured them towards the Fokkers. And it worked! The Dreideckers did the bloody job, and they did it hard and short; the Brisfits fell. Fifteen minutes later, i had a chance to return the favour. Near my waypoint two, I met the blue Fokkers again. Now they were all tangling with 5 SPADs. That was interesting to watch. Those two types didn't know how to get at each other. The SPADs boomed and zoomed, so the Dr.1's couldn't get them - but at each attack, they turned so crazy, that the SPADs just missed them all the time. So I joined in and shot two of the French fighters down. It was a very dangerous situation, as you can see in the pictures. Those Fokkers were all over the place. I was glad and caught a deep breath, when I was out of that furball! But when you find it too quet, were you are, come to Vauxcere, July 1918!

Skin created from original OFF skins made by OvS/James Romano and Paarma/Arto Karttunen. Painted like a Chinese teacup, this is an artwork, that took many hours. And, as Widowmaker said, the ground crew would just get finished, when the war was over. So, it's my most peaceful design (Lol!) It was inspired by Herr Prop Wasche, who wanted an Albatros painted like a bird of prey, and by Cameljockey, who used the name "Leutnant Feuervogel" (Lt. Firebird). I wouldn't like to be the ground crew, when this plane collected hits... -

Skin created from original OFF skins made by OvS/James Romano and Paarma/Arto Karttunen. This is a repaired and improved design of the skin "Wolf". In the old version, the Iron Cross on the left side of the fin was missing partly. Also, I added some final touch to the design; hope to the better. -

AROTH - you just put the skin here: CFS3 Over Flanders Fields > campaigns > campaign data > skins Remember how it's called, and then chose a plane of that type, and that skin for it. Of course you must "unzip" it first (Lol!) -
Hahaha!!! You are the living example, that the English must have invented the humour, Widow! Or at least developed it full size.

Drinking Absinth in the cockpit of a Fee - the nerve, this man has! No, I never had that stuff; and you saw what it did with Johnny Depp. After he drank it in "From Hell", he made these screwed up pirate films (well, the first one was alright). In Germany, Absinth was called the "Green Fairy", by the way. Yeah, Widow, with Bullet you always got a good laugh, and something to think about. An artillery man, in a WW1 Fee, drinking Absinth and dreaming of Mata Hari, reciting Latin wisdom (Lol!) -
All skinned out!...for now

Well spoken, Widow - now we're on the last miles to the finish, and I also have two or three, which I would have liked to finish. I'll dee how far I can get tomorrow. Today, I got the "Firebird" almost done; also a Seefrosta "Haifisch" and a "Wespe" (Wasp). On the last two, I could use the shark mouth, you sent me with the Pfalz - thanks again! For me, it would be hard to judge; but if I won't make it , I'll carry on doing skins - it's great fun! -

Bullethead: It's even got an incense burner mounted just by your right shoulder. I find that a bit gauche, though, because it clashes with the rest of the decor. Still, the fumes from it are a nice pick-me-up when I'm sideslipping in to land after a couple of hours at high altitude. And the top is detachable for use as an absinthe spoon. Are you sure, you're in a regular SPAD there, or does it belong to a French opium dealer. Bullethead: You sesquiplane drivers with your tiny lower wings are spoiled. I hope they break off on you That wasn't nice to say. The German planes really have a very good overall view. Worth more than a posh cockpit (although I envy you for the inbuilt central heating). But what can a pilot know about good vision, who only flew the Allied planes mostly, were they regard an attic window as progress (Lol!!!) -
Wels, didn't you know, that ALL the skins in the contest/sjkinning section are for free download? Go here and grab, what your pilot's heart desires. The Firebird/Feuervogel is not yet ready, but will be placed in there tomorrow. http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?autoc...amp;showcat=351 And I'll feel honoured, when you'll fly it!

Wow, a Zeppelin kill - great shot, Widow! Were did you meet that monster? Bullet, go on with that "art work" - perhaps you could get famous (Lol!) But why not make an Andy Warhol style Camel?
