Are those missiles for the kids that did not behave well during the year a.k.a the birch? -
A delicate armistice reigns over the Empire of Paran and the Kingdom of Dhimar. Both air forces patrol the border securing that the other side does not break the fragile peace in the region. Sometimes, pilots get too eager, flying along each other within Sidewinder-Range. At the end of 2008, a dhimari border patrol got visual contact on a parani squadron using the SU-27. Being regarded as a result of a sunstroke, the dhimari air force command did not take further actions in this case. In the beginning of 2009, reports of contacts with parani Flankers, using photographs as evidence, forced the high command to act. Already existing planes had to be upgraded to stand a chance against that new kind of threat and outdated planes needed to be replaced. Contracts with the US and other allies, known as the "Weapon for Blood-Policy" assured the dhimari air force the reception of some of the most modern fighter planes actually existing. At the end of 2009, a dhimari UAV was shot down by a parani plane. But this matter was classified in order to keep the armistice running. The last pic shot by the UAV was from a SU-35 with parani markings, covering the SU-35 that knocked out the UAV. Dhimar and Paran are on the verge of a new war...
