BACKGROUND Due to some cuttings in the budget of the military administration, the JASDF was forced to look for some suitable substitute for the Starfighter, which became more and more expensive in maintenance. US-Planes still remained expensive, Soviet planes were no alternative due to pacts Japan was bound to. Sweden, as a neutral country not belonging to the Warsaw Pact, offered a good alternative with the J-35 Draken. Japan ordered two complete squadrons and dropped the Starfighter. INSTRUCTIONS 1. File Name: [Fictional] Hispano-Suiza HA.210 Hidalgo File Submitter: ValAstur File Submitted: 27 May 2011 File Category: What If Hangar Hispano-Suiza HA.210 Hidalgo (Nobleman) for STRIKE FIGHTERS 2 (Israel or Quad-Merged) I modded the stock MiG-17F from SFP:I to make it look like a fictional fighter plane for the spanish air force. BACKGROUND The HA.200 Saeta, the precessor of the Hidalgo, was Spains first real jetfighter. But it didn't have enough power to stand a dogfight. So it was degraded to a trainer for the spanish piloting school. While trying to improve the plane and creating the HA.220 Super Saeta, another team of Hispano-Suizas R&D department was involved in the planification and construction of a plane able to be some worthy opponent in close dogfights. Three years later, the Hidalgo did it's maiden flight. The US was shocked about the capabilities of this tiny plane. Spain used this plane for long time, offering US-pilots a chance to test their dogfighting skills in their F-86 Sabres. The plane presented here was part of the Ala 6. INSTRUCTIONS 1. Hey folks I was creating a decal for my fictional Su-33/C-23 and did everything as always. But for some reason, the decal shows up creating a big black cross on the hull of the plane (see picture). Maybe someone from the more skilled people around might be able to tell me how to fix it? Greets naz

And plz also fix the LAU-115C Launchersystem for the AMRAAM. It does not fire any missiles. Can't even see it in the weapons bay.

Am I the only one with the problem, that with the new data.ini a big green slimer appears in the cockpit...right in the HUD?

Hello guys. I'm new to the skinner scene , but still have some probs when working with GIMP. I wanted to reskin the camo from the F-4E for the fictional MiG-33 with the aim of creating a Navy skin for the plane, but I'm still a bit clumsy Maybe some of the pro's in here could give me some hints. Here is what I get when I paint the camo blue while choosing the color to change. How do I get the stains and spots away and get a plain blue skin out of it?

I live in Essen-Bedingrade, but that won't help me reskin the plane

SETTING In addition to F-8S Cisne belonging to the 8a Escuadrilla, the Spanish Navy bought the A-6 Intruder. The plane took his place in the 9a Escuadrilla and his duties were Recon and Strike. SETTING Before Spain got the AV-8 Harrier for maritime service, a plane with sufficient capabilities for sea-attack and dogfight was needed. After some checking of cost and use of several planes, the spanish ministery of defense decided to buy the F-8 Crusader and to build them under license. No changes were made. Hello Guys I don't know if I am the only one experiencing the prob, but many 3rd party planes don't have afterburner animations with the new Jun 2010 version of SF2:I. Dunno if it's due to my OS, which is Win 7. Did someone experience the same probs and knows how to solve them or am I again the only one with the probs?

Hey Guys Does anybody know where to get plain white skin templates for SF2 planes to produce completely new skins? Does Thirdwire have them in some manner for download? I'm specially interested in a template for the F-4B C D and F-14
