Along with my peadles its very precise. Will need somed time to ajust but It works :P I Ordered a new Joystick anyway that Cyborg Evo Force look promiseing enough.
  4. Its not my track IR thats broken ikts my joystick..
  5. Well I my luck never goes away.. This morning at about 11:40am my x52 died I now have no Joystick.. I also have no money to replace her since I am getting my Japanese visa in a few months.. Stuff like this always happens to me.. Unless I can find a budget stick that is any good I am afraid my combat sim days are over for a year at least.
  6. Beware as FRAPS videos use a hell of a lot of diskspace as they are raw uncompressed avi
  7. Thanks for posting that used my tube ripper to keep it for archive use.. I need to learn how to fight correctly in these babies
  8. NEEARRRRRRR *TATTATTATTATTATTAT* WEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAA *BOOM* :)
  9. I took the advice and I have set my terrain detail to 3 and those black areas have gone away a fair ammount. I cant say that I see any real differance on the detail side.
  10. They shall not grow old as we who are left grow old. Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning, We will remember them.
  11. Just wonder if anyone here has had the awesome luck of being able to ride in an old crate? 10 years ago when I was 17 visiting relatives in Australia my family brought me a ride in a Tiger Moth. Frak me nothing can describe the feeling.. seriously The vibration from the engine in you butt, the wind in your face and whisteling through the cables and the creaking struts. If only that feeling coukld be simulated for OFF :P
  12. My best ever kill was on Red Baron II Got behind an enemy ace during in an intense chase at a fair distance let off 1 tiny burst of 1-2 bullets just to see if i was in range i heard a little scream the the plane swan dived into the dirt.. Made me feel as good as the 'Der Rotte Baron' musical score after he drops the wreeth My mate saw it and officially titled me jammy bastard for life.. The then laughed epicly hard till he was crying like a baby after i did a victroy loop not realiseing my plane had damage.. heard a loud crack and my upper wring crumbled a bit.. Made it home though Just... OFF My most memorable kill was on that first campaign mission flying a Fokker E.III after a ballon bust 4 two seaters coming my way with no gunners or escorts.. downed 3 of them then lined up close for the 4th and griped that trigger for dear life even grinning as i did it. She burst into flames and went spiraling to the earth. 4 kills pluss 1 baloon with no damage to me.. An ace in a day and crashed to rge fraking desktop on mission end Just a great shame
  13. I think thats my problem in air combat I am too eager.. Most of my dog fights end up at tree top level weaving about trying to our turn and take potshots. and its who ever stalls first :P Could learn a ton if I came and played online with some of you guys to train me in some decent air tactics
  14. I am running Vista 64 so I better not try that.. Just use the standard one and the campaign I have the feel of the kites with lawnmower engines again
  15. LOL Yeah Mine was lucky too. I have smashed too many mouse and keyboards in my gaming rages.. not pretty or clever I could just pretend that the C/O knocked his coffee over the mission report then though bah frak it.. centeral command will never even know :P
  16. Ahh bottom was good But this is better Lord Flashart I am sure you will agree since he is your avatar :P
  17. Just flew a perfect mission.. Took out the objective Baloon and my Jasta buggered off somwhere to engage somthing i think so rather than wander alone I gained some altitude then headed home quick just as i was crossing my lines i notised 4 two seaters. Thought to my self 4 v 1 is just plain dumb so i continued corse. about 10 mins later they changed course and flew right in front of me "silly tommy's forgot their rear guns" so i took them all down i was then pretty close to my field so i set her down in time for tea.. Then the best bit Exit mission crashed me to desktop >_< No mission record 5 potential claims on one mission an ace in a day weas ruined Yes i did say some thing that could even offend a trooper :P
  18. ATI HD 3870 X2 1GB
  19. Anyone know what would cause this?
  20. The centering is not the issue. The stick just feels light and loose. I guess I just need to practise more..
  21. Well as much as i want to spend more money on flight simming. I will have to hold back. I may be going to spend 1 year in Japan after crimbo. I have made a compramise and set the fligtht model to easy. I can get on ok with my x52 now. Everything else is set realistic though and still play dead is dead.
  22. Dosent it feel weird flying a ww1 bi plane with a yoke?
  23. Is there any way to disable ground fore in quick combat? it really gets in the way when it kills the enemy ac before i do whan i am trying to practise dogfighting
  24. Yeah the AI is pretty good. I must say I am well out of practise with WW1 sims. I am used to lining up a 747 on an ILS for finals in bad weather. I need to get used to flying a bit of wood and canvas with a lawnmower engione again.
  25. I know I sold one years ago :( i might take my X-52 apart and get a strong spring put in there
